The location and the hotel it self was great, once you are in Sardegna for sometime, the beach scenery can get a little bit default. This is the main reason we choose to stay at Villa Cedrino, a country side experience with a spectacular sundown view by the pool with mountains and river on the horizon. And it takes only 20 minutes by car to get in Cala Gonone, where you can find lots of options for boat tours, hiking, restaurants, bars . Once at the hotel, don't miss the experience to have dinner at the terrace, great food and wine.
With a rural setting just south of Dorgali, Belvedere Pradonos is 6 km from Cala Gonone beach. It features a peaceful atmosphere, a second-floor sun terrace and a garden with children's playground.

We got everything we came for. The owners are very nice, friendly, helpful and polite people. They wanted us to enjoy the stay as much as possible. Our room was very comfortable and cozy. It is situated just out of the town so it is really quiet place. The absolutely best thing was trip with one of the owners Sergio, who offers the best boat cruise to the Gulf of Orosei, which we really enjoyed. One thing we regret is not staying longer.
The 3-star Hotel Ispinigoli is located on Sardinia’s east coast, a 15-minute drive from the beach at Cala Gonone and 12 km from Orosei. It offers panoramic sea views from its raised position.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I found that the location was great to explore the area around (Gorropu and Tiscali hikes ~30min drive). The staff was very welcoming and warm.
Great breakfast! And I also had dinner once which was absolutely fantastic (optional, pay extra). I ate a lot and well! ☺️ WiFi worked well (I could even watch Netflix on my phone). My room was simple, but clean and comfortable. It also had a little patio, with a view on the mountains.
It was definitely great value for money.

Convenient room in centre of town of Dorgali. Very nice location to explore this part of island. Also very calm (at least during my stay in low season).
Fly to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, 108km from Dorgali. From there, take a direct bus (2.5 hours) or drive (1.5 hours). Alternatively, ferries arrive at Olbia from mainland Italy. Domestic travellers can also drive from Cagliari (3 hours).

This accommodation was just in the right place and time.
This accommodation was just in the right place and time. We enjoyed the surroundings and the nice restaurant we found in the town. The B&B we had was excellent and the trip from Dorgali was so beautiful that we had almost to stop at all the scenery stops.
A must take route from Dorgali south the Oriental road.

Dorgali seemed a charming town for walking and shopping.
Dorgali seemed a charming town for walking and shopping. We did not have enough time to adequately explore. We much enjoyed the Dmitiri pizzeria for dinner, friendly staff, good playlist, reasonable prices.

Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat.
Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat. There is not much to do in Dorgali itself. So a car is essential. There are some good value pizzerias, some bars and a couple of high quality restaurants. We had a memorable meal at Corte Barisone, some excellent food at Merula Cafferia (but were suprised by thge prices which were nearly as high as London here) and we loved our beers, apertifs and burgers at the great value Gallo Nero bar. Dorgali is a good base for walking the Gorroppu Gorge and for visiting Cala Gonogne.

I went diving in Cala Gonone which is great because of the caves (but only allowed if you have the required diving certification). Cala Gonone is about 15 min from Dorgali by car. Me and my friend mostly went to Cala Gonone because it also has beautiful coasts and bays. Boat trip is recommended there!
Hiking is also said to be good in Dorgali and surrounding areas but we didn‘t do it.
We didn‘t spend much time in Dorgali so we can‘t really say a lot about it.
Private room set off to the side of the property. Had a laundry horse to hang and air clothes on. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of choices. Conveniently located between Nuoro, Dorgali, and Oliena. Perfect for day trips throughout the region. In an area with very little light pollution, so you can see amazing stars at night. Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Free parking. Property is gated and has lots of livestock and friendly farm cats. Had air conditioning.
Really pretty farm with an amazing view from our room (we were in the set of rooms all the way down the driveway). Really awesome if you want something quiet with a mountain view. All the rooms have their own entrance with a little porch and picnic table. Our room had a little AC that worked well. Dorgali is not too far a drive away for some restaurants. Breakfast had some Italian bread with spreads, plus yogurt and some pastry type things. Staff is very very nice.
This hotel was incredible. We were terrible guests (not on purpose...our flight was delayed so we arrived super late, we had some trouble out hiking so were late to dinner, we got sick and needed extra linen etc etc) and they still went out of their way to accommodate us. The locations, views, room etc are lovely, very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of towels and extra blankets. The food is to die for (breakfast and dinner) and very reasonably priced.
This place was a highlight of our trip. Its location is just beautiful, with the views on surrounding mountains and hills and on a very quiet spot. It is located just 15min away from Cala Gonone. The hotel has a very good restaurant with typical Sardinian food. The staff was really nice, they even lended us the beach umbrella. A really nice experience!! Recommended also for those traveling with motorbikes.
The hotel is located in a secluded area with a magnificent view of the surroundings. A car is a necessity. Very good restaurant and nice and attentive staff. the room was comfortable with a small sitting area on the terrace, everything was clean. slept great at night, as we were out of town. I recommend it for people looking for peace, but still not far from the city.
The location is very closed to Cala Gonone so we would say is very good value for money if you want to visit Golfo Orosei.
It is remote location, so very quite, peaceful.
Nice garden in the shades of olive trees
Spotless clean
The bed is really comfortable
The kitchen space is coon area, there is a fridge, a stove, crockery you can use.
The property is a gem nestled in the beautiful hill of Dorgali. Every direction we looked gave us an amazing view of the lush mountains, olive orchards, and small vineyards. The staff were incredible, providing friendly professional service and some of the best food/drinks we’ve enjoyed anywhere in our travels.
Perfect place for relaxing and mind peace.
It is located 15 minutes from dorgali and the beaches.
The owners were extremely nice and welcoming.
Rooms are Daly cleaned.
The food is a culinary orgasm.
Mind you that there is no wifi in the rooms.
Finally it's the ultimate place to relax and come down.
Arriving here was like arriving in paradise, quite the most stunning pool and view we have ever experienced. The hotel is absolutely immaculate and very spacious for the number of rooms which makes it completely relaxing. The staff are exceptional, as is the food. Stunning experience.
This is such a hidden gem - the room and palazzo are beautiful and service was outstanding. Feels like a boutique 5* hotel with a relaxed and charming atmosphere. would highly recommend if you’re staying in dolgari and you can get to some great beaches a very short drive away.
The property is of easy access from the street once you climb some stairs. It is very well equipped and perfectly clean. The hosts are both friendly is easy to contact. We loved the Dorgali street fair and the closeness to Cala Gonone and the boat excursions.
Very nicely designed and comfortable, big enough and within 15 minutes of Cala Gonone. Booked a few hours before staying and the host Lucio was fantastic. He even offered to keep our luggage after checkout and was amazing all throughout at a very good price.
Very friendly and attentive staff, make you feel at home. Clean room and a small patio which is very private. The hotel restaurant makes good food although a bit pricey. Very beautiful garden and curated details in the outdoor spaces.
This self catering unit built in the midst of an olive grove is perfectly set for 2 people (with our 2 dogs). A well equipped kitchen, perfectly functional bathroom ... and great hospitality... made for a perfect holiday near Dorgali.
Very comfortable room with beautiful view from the terrace. Friendly, helpful stuff, even though most od them speak only Italian. Plus for taking care of trash segregation. Not far from the Gorropu Canyon and from Cala Gonone.
Marcella is very friendly, always looking that everything is fine for her guests! You have a beautyfull view to the mountains, silent place; nevertheless you can reach Cala Gonone and the sea in approx 15 min with car!
best hotel in Sardinia. location is great, facilities are brilliant, setting and views are jaw dropping, food is excellent, staff are lovely. did not want to leave.
