The area is much quieter and if using public transport it's very cheap to get around, however busses aren't very reliable and may not stop if too full. The unico app was useful to ensure we always had tickets. The area is much quieter than other areas along the coast but if you would prefer a bit more bustle, amalfi has much more to do.

Conca dei Marini is a quiet Amalfi coast town without the hustle and bustle of more famous towns but it also doesn’t have that much to see. You would probably want a car to visit the famous Amalfi sites if you stayed in this town. If you want to walk the Amalfi coast via small towns, you can probably do that here.

As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated.
As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated. Yes, it is unique, yes, it is beautiful, but... It is way too crowded in high season and as there are many tourist all things (including food etc) has very high price but average quality. To get around you need to sit in big traffic jams and there are literally no place to park car, if you are not willing to pay 10 EUR/h for parking - and even then there are places where you just cant park your car. It is worth to visit once in a life, but that's it.

Beautiful Views of the Ocean!
Beautiful Views of the Ocean! But it is very high up so there are not a lot of places to eat around Conca. We eat at a wonderful local restaurant called Le Bontà del Capo. They have a car that can pick you up and take you directly to their restaurant. Great service and fantastic food!

Nice quiet village in the middle of the Amalfi coast located inbetween Positano and Amalfi town away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi town, but not far away if you prefer a busy place to be. Great restaurants 10 minutes from our holiday home La Bonta del Capo and La Piazza da Nino both serving the most amazing fresh fish and pizza's perfectly cooked with efficient and friendly service and great local wines. Conca dei Marini is located on a cliff mountain so its uphill and down hill there are many steps vertical uphill as short cuts otherwise you can always walk around the corners on the road up and down the hill.

We loved the location - not a busy town at all, but had shops, restaurants and bars, plus a bus stop to everything we needed and wanted to see. The kitchen and washing machine were nice amenities,, plus a great bathroom and shower also adds to the value. We found the bed really comfy, and enjoyed having the outdoor space to relax in too. It was easy to get to, just lots of stairs! And at the bottom of the town there is a free public beach. Cinzia was great, very helpful with buses and info, and fixed the air conditioning same day we arrived.
- location. the view was amazing and the restaurants + a small grocery store close enough (pls. be aware that there are many steps to reach the beach - this came as no surprise to use, we were prepared :-) )
- the house. very comfortable for four people. it was beautifully decorated and very clean. there was a lot of literature about local attractions available and also maps.
- the host. we did not meet Maria, but everything worked well via WhatsApp.
- I could definitely see myself returning to this property.
The Bellavista du Conca is a wonderful house. everything about the house was exceptional and the view was breathtaking!! The house is decorated beautifully. We truly felt at home during our stay here. Conca dei Marini is a lovely little town if you want to be in a restful place away from the noise of Amalfi. At the same time it is still close enough for day trips. Luisa and Antonietta provided all the info we needed and were very helpful when we needed help to get around. I recommand this house warmly!!
Stani was an exceptional host. Besides providing transfer services at a great price, he showed us around, gave us some great tips about the whole coast, not just Conca, and blessed us with great conversations. Conca de Marina is a charming hidden gem with a lovely little beach few great restaurants, and some very friendly locals. The house itself is bond words, an artistic little heaven in the hills overlooking the sea, and I would strongly recommend staying here.
The view from the hotel terrace was spectacular. It was peaceful and serene.
We got our room upgraded to sea view room for free and we appreciate the gesture. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well designed.
We loved the terrace area due to its ambient light and music and bar service. The reception ladies were swift in their response.
The breakfast was decent and fresh.
I would recommend this hotel if you have your own car or tour car set up.
The place and the family Pavone are so nice that it’s hard to describe. Very friendly and helpful in any situation and providing the best breakfast with a beautiful view on the ocean. The upper gardens are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Amalfi coast in pretty silence. I highly recommend this place and staying in Conca dei Marini when you want to feel the Amalfi spirit without hordes of Tourists. ;) I definitely will come back. Thanks.
The location is unbeatable! A few steps away from the beach. Much easier to access via water taxi rather than by bus or car taxi as you will have to walk down 300 steps with your luggage. The staff and locals are so friendly and helpful! Definitely try out the restaurants downstairs. The grocery store is well stocked as well, but if you'd rather not walk up 1000 steps, I would suggest getting groceries before making your way to the property.
The location is right between Amalfi and Agerola, in Conca dei Marini. The bus stop is right in front of the apartment. The apartment, well, it had amazing views of the Amalfi coast. The facilities were very good, and the host, Tony, was extremly helpful and willing to do anything to make our stay as good as possible. Thank you Tony for all the help you gave us, and your smile whenever we asked for something.
The appartment was spacious and clean, the properly manager was super helpful and assisted us with arrangements of dinners and local tours.
We enjoyed spending some time on the balcony with the view on the sea and tiny lizards. The parking was available in the garage.
It’s 15 min walk down to the beach, which was mostly used by locals and has good restaurants.
The room was very spacious, and full of light with the huge windows. It was nice to stay near the town center (Conca dei Marini) where there are a couple of places to eat, but it is also not overcrowded.
Anna was super friendly and organizes the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea! She offered lots of options to eat.
The staff were excellent. Very attentive and helpful.
The hotel itself is old but full of character and charm.
The views from the bedrooms are amazing. The swimming pool is outstanding and the private sea swimming area is a little hidden gem and worth the climb down the steps.
People who work there were all very helpful, friendly and thoughtful. Huge thanks to them as often people create the atmosphere. Hotel generally is old fashioned but authentic. Coffee was good. Own beach access was lovely. Parking was a huge bonus.
Location is perfect near the cave where you can catch the ferry from 10 am to 4 pm. The shuttle bus also stops at the hotel, which is very convenient.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is nice with a good restaurant on top👌🏻
The location of the hotel is perfect! The views are amazing from the room to the restaurant & the rooftop. The breakfast is delicious and more than enough to get your day started. The rooms are spacious & very clean! I will stay here again!
