The Trout Lodge is located in Collagna, in the middle of the apuan Alps. A great place for hiking and cycling. The Trout Lodge itself ist absolutely amazing. Beautiful, spotless clean and Spacious rooms, great handmade breakfast and a very kind and helpful owner and staff. This was my third stay here and it will not be the last.

This is a jewel of a place, located in a fairy-like mountain village. The entire property is artfully designed and highly comfortable. The breakfast included tasty local and home baked products. Our host, Rosi, is helpful and charming :)

Charming little hotel smack in the centre of village, stylish yet cozy room with kettle, stylish interiors, kind personnel, great breakfast with local produce. We liked the ancient guidebooks in the bar. Draught beer was also good!
Nice little town in a lesser-known part of Italy. The only issue might be that it cannot be easily reached with public transportation, but other than that it's a great area to spend a few relaxing days.
