It was close to the bus stop, and the facility where old style, with stone walls, hard wooden door, very cozy and nice looking especially if you like vintage and country life style, the room was spacious.
the furniture have stories to tell, and it can be clearly seen most of the items are rare history gems, like the lamps.
Host is gentle and helpful.
Perfect location, as it was in the country-side but not too...
Perfect location, as it was in the country-side but not too distant from many different hot-spots. The nature was incredible (we were in a Masseria, but Castellana Grotte in general is named after the "Grotte" very unique and beautiful natural caves). The places nearby - both in the country-side and on the coast (Polignano a mare, Monopoli, etc)- were breath-taking and worth visiting. Overall a "strategic" location for our northern-Puglia travels!

The town is so pretty, lots of lovely buildings and great places to eat. The fresh food market was amazing and the locals so friendly and happy to help. The caves are amazing, well worth a visit. Alberrobello, a town of trulli houses is a short drive away, a must see. Landing in Bari airport, its a 40min drive to Castellana. We will definitely return!

We loved our stay in this restored trullo. It is in a good location to visit Bari and all the local towns and it is close to restaurants and shopping facilities in Castellana Grotte. The trullo is very clean, provides basic cooking utensils and breakfast items and has parking next to the property. The hosts Michele and Vito, provided information prior to our arrival, brought croissants each morning, and were very welcoming. Make sure to visit the caves and do the extended tour! We definitely recommend staying here!
Directly on the main square of Castellana Grotte in a refurbished flat. Very clean and great beds. Ideal for a family (2 connected rooms). Nice location near Polignano a Mare. The host gave us good indications where to eat (ristorante sagittario - great seafood a bit outside the center where the locals eat) and where to park in Polignano.
The host left water and complimentary snacks. Breakfast is in a bar nearby which has great croissants and pasticciotti.
Excellent communication and service from our hosts, really beautiful trullo and pool in a very peaceful location. The pictures really don't show just how gorgeous this property is. Everything was very high-spec, beautifully designed and our family all had a wonderful stay. We did easy day trips to the lovely Alberobello, Locorotondo and the caves at Castellana Grotte and really enjoyed just spending time in this beautiful, traditional property.
Very good location if you want to visit Grotte di Castellana and other places like Alberobello or Martina Franca. The room was good, clean, with AC/heating, with balcony. The breakfast was normal - it didn´t impress nor offended. Around the corner there is wonderful cave of Castellana. The hotel gave us a discount for the tickets! The hotel has private parking. Good value for money.
This property is the best for a couple, it is situated in
the center of Castellana Grotte, near the città
vecchia (old neighborhood) and also it was very
close to a beautiful medieval church builded around
1383. In this property you will feel the real sensation
of being in a medieval town but in modern times. The host, Davide, was a really nice guy, ready to help for everything.
The breakfast was very good with a large selection, and the staff were friendly. The pool was a great way to relax and cool down at the end of a long hot day. There are a couple of market shops, the Grotte di Castellana and many restaurants within a very short walking distance from the hotel, and one particularly fantastic restaurant which specialises in grilled meat.
The place is beautiful, a little off the beaten track but very calm and peaceful. It is easy to visit the famous Castellana Grotte (caves) from there, as well as Alberobello. Valentina and Adrea were so welcoming and nice. They helped us a lot and were very flexible.
Our room was very big and confortable.
I would definitely recommend this place!
The owner was kind to answer any questions and to let us for early check -in (1 hour earlier).
The location was a few metres away from the Italy's most famous and biggest cave Castellana Grotte.
The breakfast was delicious.
The argentinian guy working there Santi was very kind and friendly.
The hotel had a private parking.
In the hotel there is free parking, what was important for us. Outside pool was also very nice, with small bar, so cold drinks were also available. The breakfast was fine, like in Italy. There were also some fruits to choose. The breakfast tables were outside in the garden and it was nice and relaxing start for the day.
It is a neat, a bit old fashioned hotel, which happens to be in the best spot to visit the Castellana caves.
The staff is incredibly nice and fun too.
The breakfast was excellent and plentiful even thought the guests, including my husband and myself dug into it with considerable enthusiasm.
Everything.
Fantastic room, super clean, most comfortable beds in the universe, lovely balcony, phenomenal breakfast, exceptional staff and service. And right next door to the famous underground caves of Castellana.
The hotel even gave us a discount to apply towards the entry tickets! 😁
very spacious and clean room, communication with the host was super easy and the whole house with a big garden and pool is amazing! Many good restaurants in Castellana Grotte reachable by car in 5-10minuts.
The hotel is close to Grotte and near the city center. The staff was helpful. The room was small but clean . It has some problems with toilets, or at least those rooms situated on the first floor.
The hotel is elegant and clean.
The staff was very helpful.
We highly recommend to have dinner there, they have very good food quality and friendly staff.
The pool is small, but stylish.
Nice apartment in Castellana Grotte! We especially liked the outdoor area and the attention to detail - the host had thought about every single detail in this apartment.
