This was our second time staying at Al Brich and this time we stayed for two nights and toured round some of the local cantinas tasting Barolo, Nebbiolo and Barbera. We returned to Al Brich because Federico is a lovely host, the breakfast is one of the best we have had in Italy, the location is easy to get to with superb views and lots of nearby cantinas to visit, there is a restaurant a short 6 minutes walk or a second one on the other side of the village, the rooms are a good size with kettle, fridge and small balconies with table and chairs, parking is in the yard by the house and visible from the rooms and finally it is exceptional value for money. The drive towards Turin has the most amazing scenery and there are petrol stations on the way. We will be staying again! Grazie mille Federico
Boasting a swimming pool, restaurant and free WiFi throughout, Villa Gelso is nestled in the Piedmont hills. It is in Vesime, about 30 km from both Alba and Acqui Terme.

The staff were amazing (especially Laura), gave great recommendations and always happy to help! The room and facilities were lovely. Breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs fresh every morning and a selection of homemade and local produce (jams, hazlenut spread and cakes).
