Really enjoyed our stay ! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the city center, and just 1 min from a small beach. The room was very tidy and clean, and it had a private terrace that overlooked a waterfall and Lake como at the same time ! However, what truly set this hotel apart was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the hosts, especially Giovanni :)

We liked that the host provided a video on how to get into the apartment, that was helpful. The apartment fit all 5 of us and was very clean. The washer was a plus (although we didn’t have time to use it), and the kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal-not always the case for some places we’ve stayed. We really liked the location in Bellano; quiter than Varenna and close to good places to eat. We actually wish we had spent more time there as the accessibility to the trains and the ferries was excellent and Bellano was super cute. We would definitely return to Fall in Love with Lake Como!

The location is fantastic, super close to the train station, ferry port and short walk to restaurants and shops. The place was cosy and cute and had absolutely everything you could think of. Owner was super responsive and very lovely and helpful. There was wine, coffee, crisps and even little sachets of milk for us to use, plus toiletries in the shower in case you forget anything! The weather was a bit cold when we were there but the apartment was cosy and warm and the bedsheets smelt so good! Very clean! Bellano is a great location to be in. You can get to everywhere! It’s easier to get here via train from Milan central not Bergamo, even though Bergamo looks closer you have more changes, hopefully this will help people when deciding which airport to fly to. Trains and buses are regular. Varenna and Bellagio are definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.CsanádHungary - 10Scored 10

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano. We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!Festa - 10Scored 10
Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.

You have a choice of traveling by train or ferry as both stations are within walking distance from the hotel. Our room was clean and had a stunning lake view from our private balcony. The on-site restaurant serves good food with a pretty view. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Samuel at the front desk. We had some difficulty getting to the hotel and he provided excellent communication all throughout.

It’s not as busy as other popular towns in Lake Como so you can actually relax and take the ferry to where you need to go. The staff were by far the favourite part of our stay. Without the effort Marco and Tanya put into the place, it wouldn’t be possible to have this above and beyond level of service. From all rooms and kitchen area view from the windows is simply amazing🤩 spacious rooms, there is a grill and a lot of kitchenware. Great location it's only 20 min walk from the center of Bellano, but keep in mind that it's around 30 min walk back uphill. You can drive a car off cause, during the week there is plenty of parking spots in the downtown area but on a holidays and weekends it's pretty busy. The stuff member that meet us was so nice, Louise ❤️

The walk into Bellano was fantastic, all of the walk was is beautiful little cobbled alleyways that led all the alway down to the church square in town. The location was perfect, with a lake view from the outdoor seating area, and short walking distance to restaurants and cafés. The communication from Ivana was excellent, and she left lovely treats for us to enjoy, which were so appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant. It’s a great find considering the limited choices in this charming, small town, which is not known for being very touristy in Lake Como.
