A comfortable room that included a sofa and coffee table. A comfortable bed. The bathroom was fitted with a spa bath and all the necessary utilities were included. Good breakfast.
We had a lovely view of the town of Barolo from our windows. Just a couple of minutes on foot from the centre. Lots of parking space.

Beatrice was quite the hostess. Very engaged, friendly and interested. The breakfast was very extensive and loving. There was everything you could wish for and additional specials like egg or crepe were offered daily. The accommodation was cleaned daily and the location is perfect to explore Piedmont. Beatrice does not speak English but thanks to google translate communication was no problem. We will be happy to come back again.

Barolo is a very pretty town surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. We travelled by car and it was easy to visit lots of pretty towns in this beautiful region. Barolo offers a selection of restaurants and pizzeria offering very good food, service and of course great wines and everyone was very welcoming.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines...
Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more. Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing. The town Alba is also worth a visit.

Also great to do wine tasting on your walk to Barolo. The Hotel had great charms and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The host Rafaella was extremely kind and offered us a lift to and from Barolo village for dinner which made our evening extra special. The property is very well maintained and in a quiet location. I had a massage in the vineyard, yoga by the pool, a local vintner did a wine tasting and there were numerous wineries nearby to do wine tasting of Barolo, Barbera and Barbaresco. The food out the property was excellent and the region overall has some of the best food we’ve had after visiting many regions. Can’t wait to go back.JerryUnited States
