B&B Eraclio, hotel in Barletta

Located in the historic centre of Barletta, B&B Eraclio offers free Wi-Fi and spacious rooms. A continental breakfast is served in your room or at a café 20 metres away.

Very kind and speaking in english stuff, helpfull( Many tips and recommendations what to see and where to go), and very good comunication. Discount on private beach - but in general we was not using it. Our room was with balcony so you can always dry your cloths. Everyday cleaning, with changing of towels. Room was nice designed. Very good localisation, closely beach, and a lot of restaurants and bars. Very good working Wi-fi. Cooler present in room, but when you take master key electricity is down, so its not working during time when no key in room. Parking spot in near garage that you need 10 min walk - (car was not damaged or scratched). Stairs to room is very high so you need to be carefull, but its a design of such old place, nothing to change there. Rain shower head is fixed to the wall so you cant move it - it was a little problem for our son that dont like to have water on head, but we fixed it using a cup. Full recomendation, and will to come back there in next occasion. Gracie !

Barletta and all surrounding small cities are very interesting from a historical and architectural point of view. Barletta is a very fine base for short trips to Gargano (Vieste, Peschici, Foresta Umbra, Monte Sant'Angelo etc.), to Andria, to Castel del Monte, to Cannae della Bataglia, Trani, Giovinazzo etc. Barletta itself has a fine castello with a passable museum inside and a fine arts exposition of De Nittis. Bari Airport is a short drive away, also the large commercial complex at Molfetta. In sum, Barletta is a very fine choice for a base to reside and explore Puglia in 1-day trips. I would assume Barletta gets crowded in high summer season.

I was surprised at how beautiful Barletta was.

I was surprised at how beautiful Barletta was. We only stopped for the night on our way up north and was amazed with what we saw. It has beautiful sandy beaches, outdoor cafes, restaurants and parks. The people were friendly, and the night life was alive with people everywhere. What blew us away the most was the old part of the town. The picturesque little narrow streets and architecture of the buildings. A must see if you have time. I needed to stay a few days at least.

Beautiful historic centre. You can walk everywhere. Small and compact. Excellent food especially the fish and seafood. Very lively in the evening. Seems like the whole town goes out for a walk and to socialise. The nearby beaches are very inviting in warm weather.

    We loved this beach town.

We loved this beach town. There are extensive shopping and dining options in the (historic) city center. It appeared to be a hidden gem for many foreign tourists, as English is little spoken. Beautiful town with authentic buildings, monuments and all within walking distance. Bari Airport is a 35-minute drive. Shops are usually open in the morning and from 17.00 until 20.45 hrs in Barletta, meaning many cars in the narrow streets as people go for dinner and shopping. Caution is required.

Amazing historical centre with churcs and monuments; you can breathe the past in the air; a lot of placecs where to eat or drink something; the sea side is almost in front of the area; there are a lot of restaurant and places where to dance and enjoy on the sea boulevard.

Barletta was a genuine taste of Italy away from the tourist trail. It is a town by the sea rather than a seaside town. The beach is not the main attraction. The old town is beautiful with lots of cafes to soak up the atmosphere. The castle and cathedral are the main places to see. Typical white stone buildings with lots of little streets to explore. We hired a car and found it easy to find our way around. It wasn't always clear who had right of way and the drivers don't seem to stick to the limit. We were advised to go at the speed of the car in front. There isn't much to do in Barletta so is ideal for a short stay or as a base for exploring the local area which has many coastal towns as well as hilltop towns nearby. Pizzeria Mattone is the best place for pizza.

Spacious kitchen with plates and all cooking utensils, comfortable living room with good TV (Netflix included), AC. Big bedroom with great bed. All spotless clean. Additionally all rooms have fans. Location right in the historic centre with all cafes and restaurants there. 5 min walk to the beach. Stefania is an exeptional host- so kind to pick us up from the train station. Francesco was very attentive, he gave us a detailed explanation of where everything was and how it worked. The apartment is ideally located a 5-10 minute walk from Barletta train station and 5-10 minute walk into the historical centre. The beautiful town of Trani is only 10 minutes on the train away with a regular service but town was very quiet when we were there. Best restaurant we found in Barletta historical centre for anyone who hasn’t been before is Al Vecchio Forno, went there 2 nights in a row it was that good.

Excellent location in the heart of the historic centre. Very lively nearby with excellent places to eat. It was also quiet and very comfortable when it was time to sleep. The apartment has been renovated is very modern and functional. The seaside was another bonus with the choice of lidos (beach clubs) or free beaches. It was our first time in Barletta and we liked it a lot. The apartment owners met us at the train station on arrival and then took us to the station when it was time to leave.

The apartment is really fantastic, very spacious and super clean. It appears in a very stylish italian design and is obviously brandnew and welll equipped, with all you need. Even without a dedicated private parking place, we were always able to find a parking lot nearby. On top of that our host Michele was extremely supportive, fast responding and always available for us. When we stay again in Barletta the apartment will be our first choice.

We loved this quaint B&B in the heart of Barletta. It was clean, comfy, and conveniently located in the center of town. There is no on-site parking but there are garages and inexpensive parking spots on the street nearby. The hosts/owners are a lovely couple who are eager to please and really care about making their guests happy and comfortable. The included breakfast is at a cafe down the street and was excellent.

I was thinking to stay at the adresse shown on booking but I was moved to another location which is not far from the previous hotel. I liked the location and the room was big. Like that it's pet friendly. Before I arrived the hotel they explained me where to park my car. They have a free breakfast coupon which you can choose to have your Italian breakfast on different cafés.
