Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need for self-catering.Has nice coffee machine, useful washing machine and even dishwasher. Small courtyard was lovely to have for morning breakfast. Host Vera was very friendly and helpful when needed advice on travel back to Palermo airport. Overall, can highly recommend this place 👍😊

Avola is a nice town near the sea: famous for its almonds, honey and wine, it has some baroque feeling to it, though not as much as Scicli for instance. It is a near-perfect base to visit Syracusae, the beaches of Noto or the town of Modica: all within reach from 20 minutes to 1 hour, but it can also be a relaxing place in itself. A recommendation would be to visit "Bar Pasticceria Mangiafico" in town, that since 1972 delivers quality in pastries and sicilian street food!
On the side of warnings, it needs to be said that the old town has very narrow roads, and getting around by car requires some driving skills.

Avola seems like a ghost town in peak summer times
No good restaurants, no bars and nothing seems to be happening.
All the shops seemed closed once you got off the beach. Luckily I had a car so I could drive to neighbouring cities

Difficult with a car. Narrow matrix of streets. Needs Google maps and a navigator even to get to Centro storico. Easier on seafront. More space , more facilities. Seawater beautifully clean, beaches safe.

Avola isn't the prettiest town, though it does have its nice parts, but it is the perfect base to explore south east Sicily. The beaches are decent, there are plenty of nice places to eat and the access is good.
Well-maintained, clean, properly equipped and well-located apartment. An ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding architectural gems, charming cities and nature as Siracusa, Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Taormina, Etna and of course Avola itself. Despite the location in the very center, it is easy to park your car. But above all are fantastic, helpful and flexible owners. Strong recommendation.
Honestly the best b&b we have ever stayed in!
Corrado and his parent were attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh pastry, home made cakes, juices and coffees was simply incredible.
We can’t praise this enough.
I’m addition, the price is very reasonable and location is perfect for beach, Avola and getting around the local area. Top 🔝 B&B
Valentina was a wonderful host! Great communication and amazing care of her guests, providing an extremely rich breakfast, also including fresh croissants of choice from local bakery, and suggestions about attractions to visit around Avola. The room was clean and comfortable, parking was easy on the street. It was a really pleasant stay. Strongly recommended!
Nice, modern and clean room in a small B&B in the very center of Avola, hence a super convenient location to move both in town and in the surrounding region. Hosts were very nice and friendly, breakfast was great and tailor made (they asked us specifically what we preferred and prepared us exactly this). We will definitely be back if we are in the area.
wonderful to stay at a working farm, especially this one with a huge orchard of lemon trees all of which were loaded with hanging fruit. we bought olive made from olives grown on the farm. the staff was very friendly and the meals at their restaurant delicious. the location was also very convenient to several interesting places to visit in SE Sicily.
The best thing about this room was definitely the host. Damiano was incredibly friendly and helpful.
After the check-in he gave us a rundown of Avola using a map on which he made some notes for us.
He even offered us to write him whenever we needed any suggestion for restaurants.
All of his suggestions were superb and the food was delicious!
Lovely location on the outskirts of Avola. Easy access to everything, but would recommend having a car as we did as the walk into town could be a faff! Hosts were brilliant, used the pool once which was clean and a good temperature once you got over the initial cold bit! Yeah, really liked it and great value for money.
Very authentic Sicilian home, we loved it! Both our hosts were so welcoming, friendly and kind. The agent Alessandro went out of his way to help us with our questions and even took us to the bus stop. We realised that we needed a car to stay longer in Avola. It's the
Ideal beach holiday for visitors with a car.
Very nice and very clean family apartment with little private garden. Nice host, who lives just next door. 20 min walk to the nice sandy beach. 30-40 min walk to Avola city center and stores. Ideal for families. Host green attitude, garbage sorting. Fast internet.
The concept and location of the hotel. It is a small, approximately 20 rooms, and looked like a family run business. Everyone was very welcoming. Breakfast and leisure areas (swimming pool) were not crowded which allowed our break to be very relaxed.
Nice and big villa next to the sea. Comfortable, spacious and clean room, good variety of breakfast. Good spot to explore busy Sirakusa, Noto, Ragusa or to spend time in beautiful Avola and come back to villa for a quality rest.
Everything, in particular the great hospitality of the staff of the structure, the clean of room e good breakfast every morning.
