Loved everything. Wonderful facilities and fantastic host.
Cristallo Camere is offering accommodations in Alba. It provides free Wifi, a terrace, a bar, and a restaurant. At the guest house, all units are equipped with a private bathroom.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

lovely town of 30,000 people. the truffle festival was going on, something about hazelnuts, too and people came here just for the gourmet food and superior wine. we also enjoyed the surrounding Langhe valley which is a UNESCO Heritage Site because of its beautiful vistas.

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

The capital of wine region of Langhe (Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero), vibrating, full of restaurants, wine bars, deli shops. If You visit it during Truffle fair, You can enjoy the markets and seasonal truffle dishes everywhere ! For beer lovers there is also craft brewery. Thanks to central location in the area, Alba is ideal base for wine trips, bike trips, etc.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
Giorgio the host greeted me personally as I arrived. He is a great guy and we had a good chat including some restaurant recommendations which turn out to be fantastic. It is only a couple of minutes walk from train and bus stations, and another couple of minutes walk to town centre. The modern apartment is beautifully designed (by the host himself) stocked with everything I needed and more. If I come to Alba again I will stay here only, and I will tell all my friends visiting Alba to stay here too!
We had stayed in a dirty apartment in Annency, France ( la rivage di julie) for 6 days with our dogs. Problems from the beginning with the host.
When we arrived in Alba in Ca' d'la trifola we were suddenly reminded that there are hosts that take pride in taking care of their properties.
Everything was clean and in perfect shape. There were plenty of towels, soap, coffee etc. It was very comfortable and it made our stay much more enjoyable.
The host was fantastic. I recommend it highly!
Amazing! This was our first stop on a 3-week tour around northern Italy, and it was wonderful. This family-run hotel is nestled in the hills of Alba. The breakfast selection was delicious, with lots of local jams and options of eggs, meats, seasonal fruits, veggies and pastries. The location is ideal for any activities you want to do in Piemonte or is ideal just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!
This is a fabulous apartment and Valeria is the most kind and considerate host. The location is directly across from the Amplion Oenology (Wine) University, so perfect for business travellers and an easy (and very safe) 1km walk into the centre of Alba. The apartment is very very spacious, super clean and very comfortable with excellent kitchen facilities (although th restaurants are so good, I didn't use it at all, apart from making coffee.
A nice, clean, little apartment, located very beautifully in the mountains close to Alba with breathtaking view. It is in the house of the landlord, whose whole family is very nice and helpful, and who speak a decent English. They helped us to store our bicycles, gave valuable hints on nice tours, and also made some calls for us in Italian to deal with some cumbersome issues. They also have their own small vineyard.
Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, a variety of pastries, cheese, meats, yogurt, eggs to order, fruit juice and coffee. You could choose to sit indoors or outdoors under a canopy where the fresh air scented by a large honeysuckle climbing near by and various birds calling out.
There were also bicycles available at no charge to ride around the wonderful city and countryside of Alba.
Amazingly serene. Beautiful little escape near the town of Alba. We went to attend the truffle festival in the town center which was fantastic (wine and truffles!), but this B&B was nice enough to never leave it if you just wanted rest and relaxation. The hostess was so helpful and cooked us an amazing breakfast. Charming place. Helpful staff. Enjoyed it very much!
Our stay at Villa Anna was a highlight of our 4 week family holiday - beautiful home, generous & attentive host, excellent facilities (Like a boutique hotel) and our boys LOVED the swimming pool. Easy walk into Alba for delicious food & wine. Don’t hesitate booking this beautiful property. Thank You Giulio!
It’s in a perfect position right in the center of Alba, but still feels tucked away and private. The apartments are so charming and full of character, and Luigi has thought of everything when it comes to making his guests feel right at home. I can’t think of a better place to stay in Alba or in Le Langhe!
This location is remarkable - literally steps away from everything in Alba. The apartment was clean and very spacious. We loved the big open windows and functional little kitchen. Huge bedroom with a fairly comfortable bed (but not so much the linens). Really appreciated the lift!
Well equipped house in a quiet neighborhood with garage. Location is great. 5 minutes drive from the town center and walking distance to a supermarket. The staff was very responsive and provided great suggestions where to go around Alba and the region.
Marvelous view over Alba and a beautiful terrace and pool to enjoy it from. only a few minutes by car from the town but up a (steep) lane so very quiet. Our room had a private bit of terrace, and importantly given this year's heat, air conditioning.
Perfect location. Private parking is a great added value. Very friendly staff. Big room size. All the small necessities of a modern stars hotel.
Breakfast buffet is not big but every product is good quality and extremely tasty.
The property was perfect. Great location to walk into Alba.
Really well equipped property. Amazing bedrooms and very light. Helpful instructions on how to access the property too. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.
Close to Alba, but still outside of town and away from the noise. Nicely designed—contemporary, clean aesthetic with touches of antique/vintage items, e.g doors. Bed was very comfortable.
Great hotel in a very good location. Close to the city center of Alba and close to the nearby wine country. Very good service and friendly and helpful staff. We will come back.
Was called by hotel to arrange the check in, very friendly staff. explaining everything including parking which can be tricky in Alba. Nice, simple, clean, all good!
A lovely place with a fantastic view just 10 minutes from Alba. The room is spacious and cozy and the breakfast is soooo good. Would definitely come back.
