My stay at this resort was simply magical. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the charm and elegance of the surroundings. The garden's fragrant blooms and the panoramic views created an enchanting atmosphere that captivated me instantly.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast experience. The spread was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, setting the tone for a day filled with culinary delights.
As for the dinner, it was a refined affair, with each dish expertly crafted to perfection. And let's not forget the rooms! The comfort they provided, coupled with the unparalleled vista, made every moment spent indoors just as memorable as those spent exploring outside.
Overall, this resort is a haven of tranquility and luxury that exceeded all my expectations. It's a place I can't wait to return to, where every moment feels like pure bliss.

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace.
We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water, small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?

We spent two nights here in winter, which was enough. The temples took a full day, give them time. Lots to see in the old town with plenty exercise climbing all the steps.
Lots of great bars and restaurants.

We visited here because we wanted to see the Valley of Temples. We ended up adding a day to our visit to explore the city and relax at Villa Athena Resort, which is really near the archelogical site.
Agrigento has many great restaurants and patisseries to help you increase your waistline. Many shops to buy nice clothes and jewelry on the main street Via Atena.
Also just a few minute drive to the beach, which offers lots of parking and restaurants.

We loved the old town with narrow streets and many intimate piazza’s. We found it a bit difficult accessing and using public transport so we walked everywhere. Everything of archeological interest was quite close, the churches were beautiful but a little more subdued than most. The food was delicious, our air bnb host was excellent. It wasn’t difficult to park the car free as well.

We visited Agrigento to see the valley of the Temples and we were not disappointed. We visiting in our own car and so concerned about parking. Parking at the valley was easy with lots of room and a machine which accepted cash and cards to pay for the parking, which was not expensive. Pay the 6 Euros to get a hand held guide in your own language, it tells you everything about each temple and the ancient Greek city (Akragas).
You can see the whole site in a day.
The restaurant - beyond the praise, the best one we've visited on the Sicily. Very delicious Sicilian cuisine, for appropriate price. The supper we had for four persons, with good wine, antipasti, pasta, main dish, dessert and so on - 150 euro. My personal advise - choose the beaf medallion, more then superb!
It should be noted separately - very professional and helpful staff, especially waiters.
Very good and quiet location, less then 15 mins from the Vally of the Temples and the city of Agrigento as well.
The house is located in the historic part of Agrigento, a few minutes bus ride from the Valley of the Temples, the main tourist attraction. The owners were friendly and welcoming; they provided helpful information for my visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and included a variety of food items typical in that part of Sicily; the owners also offered 'doggy bags' with breakfast leftovers for the visitors to munch-on later. Overall - a 'feel good' visiting experience.
It was a gorgeous family-run property with fabulous pool and gardens. The breakfast was really, really good- satisfied a 6ft 1’ 16 year old boy, 21yo girl and us. Yoghurt, fresh fruit, condiments, loads of different sweet pastries and panini’s, omelette and of course, capuccino, macchiato, hot choc etc. Gian Carlo is the king - awesome owner. Gave us a fabulous restaurant suggestion, which turned out to be one of oyr best in Sicily. Plus, it is 4 minutes to Valley of the Temples… super close.
Great host, very friendly, helpful and professional! We felt very welcome and had a wonderful time in Agrigento thanks to his hospitality! The apartment is just perfect, quiet but in the center of the city. We had even heating which was quite important because nights in Sicily in March can be cold. Very nice Italian breakfast is served in cafe 2 minutes from the appartment ☕🥐☺️
During my 3 weeks Sicily visit I stayed in 10 different places, i find Porta di Ponte the best. It is well positioned, clean, comfortable. I did not have a breakfast option but I was allowed to take the bottle of water or have some juice from the freege. I was greeted with coffee and cookies and I was allowed to check in early and to keep my luggage after check out.
It's a newly renovated beautiful apartment. The host is a very warm and considerate lady who cooked breakfast for us. This was our best breakfast in Sicily. She had told us about the Almond Blossom festival so luckyly we were able to catch the performance and the party. If I ever come back to this area no doubt I will choose her place again.
Location fantastic, easy walk with few stairs from bus station . Located right in old town . Brilliant hosts Fabio and Sandro . So helpful nothing any trouble . We were treated like family in their home . So welcoming! Breakfast delicious with all local products .. Agrigento a hidden treasure of Sicily !
This place is amazing! We had amazing expierence, which was made by owners. We had a most amazing sunset in their valley with aperitivo and glass of wine, great talks with owners. In the morrning it was made breakfqst for us. Our kids had some toys in apartment. It was one of nicest places in Sicily!
Excellent value for money.
Kitchen and bathroom had all the expected facilities.
Coffee, soap, towels and more were provided.
The bed sheets were perfect and warm (we visited Sicily in December).
Super clean and tidy.
Flexible and responsive owner.
I will definitely recommend the place !
It is the best location we stayed in on our tour of Sicily. The host was very extremely kind to us and she made our stay extraordinary. The apartment is new and very clean and the view is directly towards the columns.
We recommend this location, don't miss it if you come to Agrigento!
The host was so nice and considerate in guiding us on the stay details, he also prepared best breakfast in Sicily. He is sooo helpful on getting us out of the car problems.
For the room, it was comfortable and I was able to see the holy temples from our room and from the shared balcony.
perfect location if you want to visit Agrigento archeological park and museum. you can purchase tickets at the hotel and they have a private entrance.
Ask for a room with a patio. we saw the temples day and night. they have a pool facing it too. breakfast was awesome
A very comfortable room. Excellent breakfasts. A wonderful view from the terrace. In the city centre and near the main city sites though the Temples of Agrigento were a couple of miles away and a bus/taxi was needed to get there.
Darling B&B just off the main shopping/restaurant street, thoughtful touches, most beautifully presented and delicious breakfast in our 9 days in Sicily. Incredible value; friendly, helpful owner. We would stay here again!😊😊
Very clean. Close to the center. Marko was polite and flexible with check out. After 5 different accomodations across the Sicily La casa di fili was the last one and also the best one. Everything was great.
The wineyard was beautiful and the family were very welcoming.
The food was the best one that we had in Sicily.
Totally recommending, it is an experience.
