This friendly hotel has lovely views over the sea and estuary and offers good-value food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork City and Cobh.

Breakfast was just fantastic and such a lovely surprise to see all the things we love readily available to us in the fridge, have never seen anything like it before, a genius idea. It kept us going all day. The location was unreal, we never moved the car from when we landed until it came to leave. The beach was so near and we got our lovely walks in. Walter Raleigh was right beside us which was lovely to go to for a drink. So central to everywhere.

Beautiful property, set back from the road ,ample parking. The host Mary & John are the nicest people you could ever meet, nothing was too much trouble. So friendly and hospitable, rooms are spotless with the added feature of a fridge in the room. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the homemade different breads were gorgeous.

Very nice and welcoming hosts, who offered us a wonderfully lush breakfast with the most delicious homemade muffins and were also very helpful with tips on what to do in the area. The room was spacious with a nice view out onto the bay and the bed very comfortable.

Perfect Location .. Beautiful view .. Very Clean .. Will book again 👌
Youghal is located at a river estuary. It has a history - we stayed at the Sir Walter Raleigh hotel - and a number of historic buildings in town and on the water front. We stayed overnight. I had a long, interesting, exploratory trip along the boardwalk along a wide, blue flag beach. It’s a destination for family holidays, it’s well worth a stop on a trip along the south coast of Ireland.
Fabulous unspoilt seaside resort. Charming friendly people. Magnificent sunsets & beaches galore. Easy walking around town and along the promenade/strand. Bertie’s pub for great Guinness & atmosphere even on rainy afternoon.
Clancy’s for great food & service.

I love Youghal.
I love Youghal. I have been visiting and sometimes staying there for years. For a seaside resort I find it very peaceful. Plenty of places to eat and everyone has been very friendly. Clancy's is probably my most favourite bat/restaurant. Good value for money.

Youghal was a lovely town with lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Signs indicate that a parking disk is required but the Tourist Board told us when we were there that parking was free everywhere. Would be sensible to check if this is still the case.

Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town.
Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town. The newly extended boardwalk makes for a scenic walk. There is a long beach with some great views all year long. Had breakfast in a little cafe named 'Sage'. Had a full Irish breakfast for €10. I could not recommend this cafe more.

Youghal is a busy town, lots of shops and places to eat.lovely to walk around and sit looking out at the sea. Was sad to see that a no. of shops are closing down, obviously the result of COVID 19. Smashing little cinema there too.
Fully self-service hotel. We picked the keys from a locked box and just left the keys in the bedrooms, which nice during COVID times. The instructions were very clear, including Wi-Fi password, emergency phone numbers and check-out instructions. The queen bed double rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Also, Youghal itself turned out to be an amazing town, so if you're looking for hotels in the area, I would recommend this specific town, it has nice parks, beaches and amenities overall.
From the moment we checked in everything was excellent. From the receptionist to the waitresses, room service was extremely good. The food was exceptional, I don't have a bad word to say. We would highly recommend the Water Raleigh hotel. The room was spotless, the bathroom was excellent, the power shower unreal🥰 Great value for money.Location is fabulous right across from the beach and a fantastic place to go for a walk. We will definitely be back again, thank you Walter Raleigh hotel 🏨
Beautiful house, very clean and well maintained, very comfortable beds and beautiful views. Absolutely brilliant location as its halfway from Dungarvan and Cork/Kinsale. Best place to stay for a few days to get to know the best places in Cork or just to chill out and unwind.
Great indications to access the property and getting the key from the lock at the door was extremely straight forward and a great idea for these type of properties.
John and Mary were amazing hosts! Delicious breakfast, an extremely comfortable bed and room with all the amenities you could want like a smart TV and jacuzzi tub, a warm welcome, and parking on-site. I was a solo traveler and John and Mary even checked in after my day trip during my stay to make sure I got back safe. Youghal is a beautiful little town to stay in. Highly recommend!!
Lovely B&B !!
The rooms have been done up recently and look lovely. It has new changing fixtures with is very handy.
Wonderful host, so kind and gave lots of local information that was very helpful about Youghal and surrounding areas in Cork.
The breakfast was lovely and had very good choices.
The view from the front of the property is beautiful and has good parking.
Devon House is a beautifully restored Georgian property with chic decor. It had all the charm and facilities offered by a boutique hotel. It was spotless and the breakfast was superb-excellent quality and an abundance of choice. Location was in central Youghal close to everything. Lucy (the owner) offers a warm welcome, great local information and is a lovely host!
Such a lovely relaxing space. We really enjoyed our time in Youghal. The information before arrival was the best and very straight forward and we didn’t have any trouble with our self check-in. The house was cozy and felt like home and the little touches around the house really added to the experience. We will be back.
Very tastefully restored hotel corridor and rooms into a quirky and delightful living space with great view of the sea. Colman and Jay has parking space kept for our bikes outside the front door. Great pub and restaurant across the street but do book if you want to eat on arrival .
The location is amazing, with incredible sea views and walks. Whilst a little out of the town you still have easy access to pubs, restaurants etc. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the apartment is a 'home from home' with everything you could need and more.
Beautiful setting, large and comfortable rooms, well-supplied with all things needed and a lovely breakfast too. Hosts are so welcoming and thoughtful, it’s a haven with wonderful views of Youghal bay and the estuary. Easy access to Youghal for work or pleasure!
The host was extremely cordial and kind, and helped my wife who got ill during the trip. The breakfast was excellent! The property is a short enough distance from Youghal to be convenient, but tucked away enough that it is in a nice, non-busy area.
Mary & John were excellent hosts — friendly, warm, & extremely helpful (& John has a keen wit!) Very comfortable room, with many thoughtful touches — fridg, coffee, tea, filtered water. Fascinating town.
