Incredible experience. So touched by the hospitality of our lovely host Fran had given! Breakfast and Dinner options are available. Irish Breakfast was nice and she made sure to fully fill our stomach. She is an amazing guide, she recommended us nearby attractions and also guided us about the route. The living toom is very cozy, and we spent time chilling there. There are sitting arrangements outside, we enjoyed watching sunset from there. View offers Ring of Kerry, part of Beara way and of course the beautiful susnset. Dursey Island boat trip or Cable car point is 40 mins drive, and the coastal driveway is mesmerising. Healy pass, Glengarriff are 30-40 mins drive. I would highly recommend this place to stay, because it is very easy to commute to all the nearby attractions and also a big shoutout for the host Fran. We will definitely visit again.

No cooked breakfast but was for us the best of breakfasts: fast, plenty of healthy and fresh choices (excellent cold salmon), thoughtful gluten-free offering in response to our request in advance. Very good location, a couple of blocks from town center yet quiet, a bit uphill with a nice view of the harbour. Roomy bathroom with lots of natural light. Excellent, charming host.

The B&B is most certainly the best one we’ve ever stayed in, it was better than a 5* hotel! The room was just beautiful it had French doors going out to the garden, we were given a glass of bubbly each on arrival and when we returned from our meal out the bed was turned down with chocolates and there was a night cap for us both with a lovely note saying have a good night sleep!! Our breakfast was amazing and we were even given biscuits and cakes for our journey!!

Biased as my family come from the area.
There is plenty to explore in the area from the mines to the strand.
Dursey cable car is fun and nice walking on the island
The local mine museum is good for rainy days.
O'Neils bar has local traditional music every Sunday and in summer occasionally on Wednesdays and Thursdays
The Dursey Deli in the village does excellent fish food in the evenings mostly landed that morning off the trawlers

Loved the village, The Copper Mine Museum is a must, as is the Beara Barista and Dursey Deli. Lots of nice eateries- mainly takeout. Lots of good walking trails. Lovely and quite when we went but probably very lively during the height of the season

When we arrived the weather was atrocious, but it does not take from the beauty and majesty of the Beara Peninsula. The weather improved on the second day and the magic increased. The Copper Mine Museum is a disappointment, none of the interactive displays were working and the entry price of €6 does not represent value for money. The walks and hikes are clearly signposted as are any local attractions. Allihies is a great base from which to explore the stunning Beara peninsula

If you’re looking for a quiet break from a busy life in a city, Allihies is the perfect spot with its’ stunning nature surroundings, beautiful sandy beach, lots of amazing walking paths and friendly people. I’ve recharged in that part of Ireland like nowhere else. Will definitely be back there again
What can I say - our family decided to staycation this year and visit the wild Atlantic way. Seaview guesthouse was recommended in a blog and to say it was outstanding is an understatement. From the moment we were greeted by Mary on arrival until she waved us off the next morning, our stay was exceptional. We have stayed in multiple 4/5 star hotels across the world, and the Seaview was up there for cleanliness, room size and all the extras. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the real Ireland on the Atlantic way.
Everything! The location is great ( not for the faint of heart though - the road to Allihies is rather challenging but worthwhile)
The room is everything you can ask for after a long day: clean line design, comfortable and spacious.
Mary is a great host, very accommodating, and the breakfast generous and varied. If we had the chance we would have stayed a whole week
With Mary you definitely get value for money. A friendly welcome and a lot of helpfulness. We thoroughly enjoyed the very diverse breakfast buffet. A particularly beautifully situated guesthouse in the very pleasant village of Allihies, with beautiful sea views and a nice sandy beach.
Loved that it was close enough to the village and beach to walk there but far enough away to have total peace and quiet. Went to Allihies on a walking holiday and the minute that you stepped out the door you were on the Copper Mines Trail and the Beara Way. Couldn't have been better.
Allihies is a beautiful town in Ireland. The Seaview Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for the night. There was a restaurant and pub within walking distance and the food and craic was wondeful. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was perfect!
The host, Mary, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! The B&B is located right on the Ring of Beara and the view from the property is exceptional. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.
Very clean comfortable. Almost homely feel. Great breakfast. Stunning views and great location. Loved every minute of being in Allihies and staying at the guest house. Mary and family runs a very efficient and pleasant place.
Had a great stay at beach view b&b. Lovely view of the beach from the house which is only a short walk away. Host was lovely & provided an excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if in Allihies!
The host is amazing and the breakfast is super. There is a choice of pancake which is mouthwatering. the place is highly recommended
Allihies is a beautiful town. Truly wonderful stay.
Mary is a fantastic host, the breakfast was delicious and the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. Allihies is a lovely Village in beautiful west Cork.
