Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. The huts at Beds of Silk are simply perfect with everything you need to make your stay a memorable one! every detail was taking into account and you can see it! The linens were great, bed super comfortable and pillows amazing!
The shower was TOP! and heating worked perfect!! I'd definitely recommend this place!

Picturesque small village with cafe, pub and shop (only open in the morning). Lovely estuary views from the Quay. Not much to do in the village, or even at nearby towns like Kilrush, but a nice spot for peace and quiet, and a good base for those willing to day trip further afield.
