Very comfortable, spacious, room in a lovely large house outside Kinnegad. Self-service but plenty of options for breakfast (including delicious smoked salmon and cheese), and the owner was very friendly. Would recommend this, and the value was exceptional.

Nothing! Nobody there when we arrived, 1hr 30mins went by and was told by phone call we were in room 6, beds literally falling apart I had to get tools from my lorry and try tighten the screws that were ready to fall from the frames , listed as a quadruple room but only had a double bed and small single with an avengers duvet cover, no hot water whatsoever, enquired lots of times about hot water only to be grunted at, no heating, was handed a WiFi password which connected to the owners phone which was useless because he disappeared somewhere in his car and wasn't seen again until the next morning, carpet was disgusting, walls had splatter of some sort all over them, our door didn't lock infact it didn't even stay closed we had to prop a chair with a unit on top to secure the door, breakfast was supermarket branded weetabix, with a plastic bottle of milk that had been out the night before, there was nothing else on offer other than an opened box of weetabix, it was the worst B&B I've ever came across and I don't understand after my experience how anybody could rate this place more than half a star, horrendous!

The host was great, she greeted us on arrival and made sure the property was warm. She showed us where everything was and how to work the heating and wood burner. She left us some milk in the fridge and there were the basic items in the cupboard like tea, coffee and sugar.

The kitchen had all the basics. The area was quiet and peaceful. We could bring our bikes into the house. The water was nicely hot. The price was reasonable.

It was all lovely - from staff, restaurant/bar, leisure club & spa. The scenery from the room was great! It was for a birthday, and they gave us a champagne in the room and sweet decorations. We had a relaxing stay.
