Powerscourt Hotel, Autograph Collection, hotel in Kilmacanoge

On Ireland’s beautiful east coast, Powerscourt Hotel is a 5-star hotel tucked away in the woodlands of County Wicklow. There are stunning spa facilities and an award-winning restaurant, Sika.

We were returning customers given a small room with flood lights shining in thru the windows. No way to open the windows for fresh air. Noisy air con. Given extra water at check in. Disrespectful way to treat returning customers.

The building and decor were very nice, and the room was spacious. There are lots of areas to relax with a book, including outdoor seating. Breakfast had many options to choose from, including a la carte menu and was delicious. The staff were all friendly.

Horse & Hound, hotel in Kilmacanoge

Horse & Hound is situated in the historic Delgany village at the foothill of the Wicklow Mountains, 22 km from Wicklow Gaol and 18 km from Usher Court Gardens. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

The whole place has a lovely feel about it. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Nothing was a bother to them. The pub was wonderful and Bellevue restaurant was impeccable. The area is off the beaten track so to speak but this was the appeal to us. Lots surrounding the area including multiple coffee shops and shops and the sea front is only a 8 minute drive away.

Powerscourt Springs Health Farm, hotel in Kilmacanoge

Set in Wicklow, 4.9 km from Powerscourt House, Gardens and Waterfall, Powerscourt Springs Health Farm offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Had a lovely stay at the springs, the scenery was spectacular and the staff were so lovely , however the menu wasn't the best and the beds were extremely hard to sleep on but I have to say the staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us . Would definitely go back again id just be bringing food to eat it. Wouldn't be interested in the food menu.

This is the best part of the East coast.

This is the best part of the East coast. A short drive from Dublin, close to Bray, Greystones, Wicklow and Wexford. Buses and trains easy to use. Beaches and mountains nearby, houses and gardens to visit and plenty of places to eat. Local people are very helpful in regard to routes and things to do. They seem to enjoy visitors, that really comes through.
