Kilbora B&B, hotel in Ferns

Located in Camolin and only 30 km from Altamont Gardens, Kilbora B&B provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The traditional Irish greeting & hospitality from the outset by both host Anne Marie & hubby Mark ( the locals refer to as the Bossman 😂) AM went out of her way to ensure that I knew where house was ( rang me & organised breakfast time suitable for me) especially as I was a late traveller via Kerry. Hubby Mark was there to welcome me — nice quaint room but warm & cosy upon arrival Next morning awoke to the fresh sounds/sights atmosphere of farm & birds in abundance ambience Woh !!! What a host when it comes to serving 5 star breakfast ( no hotel would do better) Absolutely fabulous shower that worked at all times to the set temperature no matter what time of the day ( I was running some days hence late showers) Same 5 star treatment for 3 days AM is just a jovial host & a very interesting intriguing lady who had a wealth of knowledge on various topics —- highly educated but equally and & hubby most down to earth Made a refreshing reflective stay a most enjoyable one (even ended up @ work to fill in for a colleague in Gorey)

Great hotel, very clean with nice rooms I went here for a family break with my wife, a 9 year old and a 1 year old... The cot and bedding provided was perfect and so fresh and clean. Food was very tasty in the bar too. The steam room in the adjacent leisure centre was the hottest and best I have used in Ireland. Costs are refunded for vouchers and we had a nice lunch before leaving... Thanks for the stay!

As we were visiting family in the region we didn’t really have much time to visit Ferns itself but did have dinner in The Courtyard and it was outstanding! If you are staying outside of Ferns itself, or wish to explore, you would need a car, but there are buses from the centre of Ferns to other towns such as Wexford.

very warm hosts, our beds were very comforatable had great sleep, breakfast was top class great to start you day. The room we were staying in was spotless and the power shower was so refeshing just what you want to get you going. Our daughter was completing in the irish pony club championship so the location was a gift as ferns was only 15 minutes away from barnadown showjumping equestirian centre.
