Beautiful place to stay. The rooms, restaurants, bars and walking areas were all fabulous. All the staff were so super friendly. The two pools are great, and the jacuzzis are a really relaxing option after a long hike.
My room was 316 with a door that opened up to a river, and I had some great sleep there, it was so peaceful. There was a wedding one night and I didn't hear anything. The bed is very comfy and and room is very clean. Great big bathroom. Robes and slippers are supplied. Tea and coffee in the room too.
The location is fantastic. We went on some great hikes nearby, short drive to many great places.
Breakfast was fab, hot food you can order and then loads of other items you can get yourself like granola, fruit, yogurt, fresh bread and cheese, croissant etc. loads of juices too.
We used the snooker room one evening, great option to have at the hotel.

Excellent stay for the two of us and our little dog. they were waiting for us with a cosy fire in the front room and our bed had the option for an electric blanket. The house is big and quiet. Lots of little details and decorations, including fresh flowers. Our room was of decent size. They gave us lots of ideas for walks, including a walk in their own land to see a waterfall. Breakfast was lovely and they had vegan options for me. Overall, excellent stay and we will be back next time we are in Wicklow.

Fine Irish breakfast.
Just one point to mention for dinner you need to drive a few kilometres further , there is one restaurant (from hotel) in the neighbourhood but have not always free table due to reservation of hotel guests .

I want to go back.
I want to go back. A wonderful old house in the country, not far from Aughrim. Beautiful countryside, amazing views from the house. The house is immaculate and interesting. Svetlana and Jeff have loved this house and it shows. Everything is chic, unique and amazing. This is not a hotel it is a piece of history and is so comfortable. I am going back in the summer to lounge on the deck and watch the sunset over the wicklow mountains.

We went to BrookLodge and Macreddin for a wedding so didn’t explore much of the surrounding area, but from the drive in, it looked beautiful.. once at the hotel we found that to be as equally as beautiful

Aughrim lovingly maintains its status as a beautiful Tidy...
Aughrim lovingly maintains its status as a beautiful Tidy Town. It is also friendly and provides all of the basics. More dining options are not far away in and around Arklow on the sea. The walks in and near the village are stunning, and run the gamut of difficulty.
On arrival, we had been upgraded to a suite, no extra charge despite saying I would pay for same. I had advised the hotel before hand that it was our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was huge and the bed, most comfortable. The food was excellent, the meal we had was 10/10. The staff were very friendly, could not fault them. The waitress was fully aware of dietary requirements and also they had a little surprise for us as it was our anniversary. It was an evening I won't forget.
Nice location proximate to the Wicklow Mountains, where we enjoyed hiking. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodated our preference to change rooms at check in. While staying here, we accessed hikes at Glendalough and Lugnaquilla - very scenic! The lodging is part of a working farm and we were delighted to see the new lambs in the adjacent fields. Breakfast was very good with French press coffee and a full traditional Irish breakfast among the options.
The staff are amazing! I can't fault any of them. In particular Aoife on the front desk.
Beds are very comfortable, and amongst my friends we had 4 very different rooms and I'd have been happy to have stayed in any of them.
Food & drinks in the main hotel bar are excellent. In hindsight we would have only eaten there for the few days.
Pools & spas are great and very quiet mid week.
The room was very spacious and the bathroom was lovely. We had a great breakfast in the morning with time slots for different guests, which was very Covid aware. The grounds were great to explore too. The hotel advertises itself as dog friendly, which is true as they have three dogs themselves. I like dogs but this hotel might not be for people who have a fear of dogs.
Set in the stunning Wicklow countryside. We were among the first visitors after the lifting of Covid restrictions and so not all facilities were available. The couple who run Clone House were friendly and helpful and I would recommend it to anyone. I think we'll be back when its fully operational.
Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Very friendly hosts. Nice breakfast. Set in a beautiful location near the Wicklow mountains. There is a lovely old ruined church beside the B & B. Aughrim is a short 5 minute drive away or about a 30 minute walk along a nice country road.
I’ve been here many times.
We love the grounds of the hotel.
staff are so friendly & helpful.
Spa & jacuzzi are lovely
staff moved our table to the area I wanted from been at the hotel before
fridge left in room was requested.
Beautiful & peaceful surroundings. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous from the outside
The bedroom was a great size, the bar and restaurants were cosy. The spa was average.
The food in both restaurants was great but....
Lovely old 17th Century building. Some beautiful furniture. WiFi was fantastic. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was beautiful top marks for the breakfast it was scrumptious. Hotel was secluded and felt secure.
Catherine was a lovely house manager and is a credit to Trident. She had info for us on local amenities and showed us around the house. The nearby lake was a lovely feature and Aughrim is a lovely village.
Rooms were large and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. Aughrim town was small but a good basis to travel around. Hotel wasnt overly modern but that was ok
Great location near the beautiful town of Aughrim. Martin was so friendly and hospitable. The view from our hut was beautiful. The electric heater was a welcome touch.
