this was a older traditional Irish hotel. it has such charm with the classic order traditional style. if you want ultra modern hotel this place isn’t for you. But if you like historic charm, visit Tully’s. Paul the owner and his staff were friendly, helpful and would take time to chat, help with questions about trying to find family history. We would love to visit again. the Full Irish Breakfast-was included! it was very tasty as was their pub food.
We used the hotel as a base for the suck valley way. The location worked out really well, it's right by many walks and the train station is just around the corner. We ended up eating in the hotel every evening and it was fantastic. The room we had was lovely, very large and recently invested in so very comfortable! The staff were amazing, always so helpful - both in the bar and the breakfast staff. Far exceeded expectations!
Friendly staff that provided all sorts of recommendations and made our stay a delightful experience. The room was up to par to a hotel. The bathroom had water mixers that worked. The heating elements worked. The house is next to a major road but it's situated far from the street, which provides a quite environment. The breakfast is made to order by the owner and served in a restaurant styled room. It was great!
Stayed in Tully’s Hotel, for five nights, last week.
We had a lovely, spotless, spacious room with a modern en suite bathroom.
Paul, the owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble!
Food was amazing!
My son, daughter in law and 21 month grandson joined us for one night.
They also, had a lovely room and my grandson was made to feel very welcome too!
We stayed at Tully's for a full week and I can't think of a bad thing to say about the place at all, key points for us:
All the Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Food was brilliant with daily specials.
Added Bonus of UK sports being shown.
Room was spacious and very clean.
Lovely family run hotel
Will be returning in the near future!
A very nice hotel with super friendly staff and owner. The owner of the hotel, Paul, drove us to a local pub when he saw us going out in the rain. He told us about the town and welcomed us to the village. Breakfast (included in the price of the hotel) was excellent also, and was in a nice pub/breakfast room.
Paul Tully and his staff are excellent hosts. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms have upgraded with fine linens, modern bathroom, furnishings. This will be our first choice whenever we visit Castlerea
The house is amazing. Lots of nice personal touches from the host waiting for us when we arrived. Very warm and inviting, and also just a short walk to the centre of town. We will definitely be back.
The hotel was comfortable but dated the staff were helpful the bar staff lovely
