Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Accommodation is really a roomy, very comfortable cottage all your own with living room; kitchen and separate bedroom. Catherine is a superb host who welcomed us immediately upon arrival. And the kitchen is stocked full of breakfast items like fresh coffee; scones; fruit; cereals, meat, cheese, fresh baked soda bread, juice, yoghurt. The cottage is beautifully decorated with many paintings on the walls and other features that make a homey, comfortable stay. Would absolutely return without any hesitation. One night was definitely too short!
Only 10 minutes’ walk from the 15th-century Bunratty Castle, this family-run B&B offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the surrounding garden and countryside.

Room was clean and bedding clean. Beds were ok - however two of the single beds were a bit whably and many require attention. Towels were clean but off colour from white, I am also aware other people may not be bothered.
The breakfast was great.

Beautiful house with a lovely host and in a beautiful setting
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Bunratty provided a close location to Shannon Airport necessary after an overnight flight. We dined at JP Clarks which is lovely and delicious. Dirty Nelly's was adorable, but we couldn't get service. Bunratty Folk Park is well worth a visit. The breakfast served at Bunratty Mews B & B was plentiful and delicious which we could enjoy and be on our way.

Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms.
Bunratty Castle gives you access to all the rooms. If you have trouble walking on narrow steep surfaces you would not have access to most of the castle, however the rest of the park is very interesting and accessible.

This is a perfect way to start an Irish vacation.
This is a perfect way to start an Irish vacation. It is a short drive from the Shannon airport and the Bunratty Castle/folk museum is a great way to shake off jet lag. There is shopping and restaurants in town that are very good options.
As you approach the building, it seems like a great estate house....tall ceilings, large rooms, opulent furnishings. Our room was quite large, with a large bed, and sofas by the window. There is a game room with billiard table and bar area which is quite nice for a B&B, and a baby grand piano (that could really use a tuning). Breakfast is served in a delightful dining room with traditional english breakfast offered. There's a couple of pubs nearby in Bunratty, right by the castle that were quite fun.
My wife and I were on a 2 week vacation all across Ireland, we stayed in a couple of different hotels and an Air bnb, the bunratty meadows was by far the most comfortable, cozy farmland feeling ever. The hosts were awsome that provided a beautiful breakfast in the mornings. Having coffee in the morning watching the sun rise in the pasture with the cows grazing was very relaxing. When we come back for our next visit to Ireland we will Deffinetly be staying at this location again. It was sadly missed
Rates were exceptional value. Breakfast was delicious, served hot, servers were knowledgeable. Beds extremely comfortable. Hotel staff couldn't be more helpful. Patio area out back of hotel was an added plus--ate a couple meals at the picnic tables on nice evenings. A wonderful stay. Would recommend the Bunratty Manor for anyone.
Hotel was lovely, dinner especially in the evening was great, we all loved that. Enjoyed watching the rugby in the TV room after dinner. Location fantastic for Bunratty Castle, room was very spacious and confortable. Large bathroom also. Staff very friendly too. Would thorougly recommend.
Fantastic location right beside the castle and lots of places for drinks and food. The staff were lovely and super helpful. The facilities in the spa were great too. The overnight oats and smoothies at breakfast were delicious. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Joe, the host was extremely pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful, the beds were very comfortable, the lounge and rooms are spacious and feel cozy. The location is great for exploring Bunratty by foot. I would absolutely recommend staying here 👌
Gorgeous property in Bunratty. Great views and awesome treats in the room. The lodge is up a hill, but is doable (about 6-7 mins from JP Clarkes) and walkable to the castle. Definitely exceeded expectations. Felt very posh.
Lovely 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house with its own outside area. Beds are super comfortable with beautiful bed linen.
Location is great. Short walk to Bunratty castle, folk park, restaurants and bars. Most have live music.
Location was excellent, very close to Bunratty Castle. Room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Nespresso machine in the room was a nice addition! Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were delightful!
The location was perfect, close to the castle and folk park and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
The house was very clean and spacious and parking right outside the door was ideal.
Lovely room with en suite, within walking distance of the village and its 4 pubs/restaurants and the fantastic Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Great breakfast in our room each day also.
Location was great for the area. We could walk to many restaurants and the castle as well as easy access to the roadways. The house had great space and everything needed for our family.
Breakfast was superb! Lorraine was a wonderful host. The house is enormous and furnished so that one feels like royalty. The Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle is a must!! Great fun.
Location was brilliant walking distance to shops, restaurants and Bunratty Castle. Also motorway just around the corner to travel to Limerick 10m drive and Ennis 15min
