    Great facilities locally.

Great facilities locally. Major shopping but hotel is off the beaten track and quiet. Great ambience and facilities without leaving. Traffic congestion for going into the city at rush hours exceptionally bad. Cinemas, Olympic size pool etc all nearby.

Room price was too high for vacation travelers, yet lower then other similar facilities, and appears to be set for business travelers on expense accounts. Location is far from any sites of vacationers interest. However, I knew this when I booked and chose facility because we needed to extend our stay a few days, the price was lowest and facility was relatively close to airport.

Very disappointed to arrive back at hotel at 11pm following a concert to find that the bar was closed. After expressing our disappointment to the receptionist she arranged for us to have a drink in the foyer area. A lot of other guests arrived back after us and we’re in the same predicament. We were informed that the hotel was quiet and so they decided to close the bar early???

Friendly Professional Staff excellent facilities, clean, restaurant serves superb quality food, great bar area with very quick and reasonable priced menu. Anthony and Darren member’s of the front desk staff, were fantastic a credit to the Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown. Will continue to recommend the hotel because of the excellent customer service. Our 4th stay with this hotel, have already booked for 2020 and hopefully planning another trip before Christmas 2019 for Christmas shopping so we will be back. Thank you to all your staff fo always making us welcome.

Blancherstow is a small and quite City less than half an hour from the City center of Dublin. There are many shopping centers and a plenty place for parking. Transportations to Dublin's city center are easy to access.

Everything about the castleknock hotel makes it a great holiday for family, the facilities, Rooms, hygiene, little extras are all excellent. It is safe and the staff are very attentive and professional, friendly and polite. The only downside is that it is a little far from the city and the traffic can be problematic but the safety and security for families more than compensates for that. It also does not feel like a family hotel that is over run by smallies so parents/adults can really enjoy also.

Staff were excellent. Raul and Ruaraigh in Bar 22 were top notch. The hotel has their Covid precautions well thought-out. Their meat and cheese platter was memorable. Having the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were important for us. This hotel meets expectations. Those looking for something special, then perhaps look elsewhere. We enjoyed our time and will be back. This may be a pro or con depending on your situation: the hotel is very family friendly with a lot of children present at all times.

The size of the room was perfect for a family of 4, the camper beds for the kids was very comfy, i know this as our 4yo was sick on one of the nights and i slept in it until 2 and my husband slept in it until morning. we were up woth 4yo a lot. Close enough to Blanchardstown centre and to the airport, we were collecting my husband from the airport, sole purpose of the trip and decided to stay up in Dublin for the long weekend.

Rooms very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast had good selection but pancake machine broken both mornings so children not impressed. Dinner only in bar but very good, a wider selection would have been nice. Our waiter Robbie was fantastic, and did a great job especially considering how busy he was. Very close to all the shopping in Blanchardstown, and only a short distance from Tayto Park.

Location is excellent and easy to get to. Large shopping centre across from the hotel with restaurants galore and a cinema. Have stayed here four times now and prefer it to Dublin. Twenty minutes on the bus gets you to Dublin. The hotel is the best around and cannot fault it.. There's plenty of free parking above and underground and rooms are excellent. Great breakfast and carvery on Sunday.

Great hotel, very good standards with plenty of dining options. Good spa and pool area with extra touches for guests such as robes and slippers to use going to and from. Good work space in lobby if meeting others for discussions or just chilling with other members of your party. Very well used resort and both near the city and main shopping area while keeping a country ambiance.

Hotel was exceptionally clean, modern and well kept. it’s in a good location, though a bit far to restaurants or stores. It met our needs. The daily breakfast was well worth the money and the bar food was very good as well. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Very clean, comfortable room. Great food options. Close to the airport but it doesn't feel like it. It might make a good base for exploring Dublin. It doesn't have a quaint atmosphere but I wasn't looking for that on this stay.
