I loved everything about my stay in Teach de Broc. My experience was one of warm warm hospitality, professional service, and attention to detail that one finds only in family run establishments. Beautifully appointed rooms, elegant furnishings tasteful decor, and bright airy bedrooms induce a sense of almost instant relaxation. The hands-on oversight of Aoife and her family, ensures that the highest standard is maintained in all aspects of this hotel. Its understated luxury, service, location and the hospitality make it a wonderful place to stay. Thank you! I can't wait to return!

Kind friendly hosts, great cooker (as always, bring your own chef's knife), plenty of plates, pans etc., plenty tea towels, oven gloves & cleaning equipment, heating warmed the house effectively, tons of space inside, lovely peaceful area. All mod cons working well and generously stocked basics and treats in the kitchen.

Ballybunion is one of those small traditional Irish holiday towns. It has not changed much over the years. The main attraction is the beach (if you are not a golfer). There are a few beaches in the town, each has their own unique selling points. The Ladies (perfectly frames between two cliffs), Mens (longer walks) and Nun's beach (only accessible by rope). Each are different. There are a few pubs and restaurants and a gaming arcade which is great for kids.

The beach is well-known and popular.
The beach is well-known and popular. It's not the only local beach but it's good and Ballybunion town is good for tourists with kids. Of course golfers come here too. There are places to snack, souvenir shops and supermarket shopping etc. You don't have to stay right in town as there are plenty of good b&b's a couple of minutes drive away.

A stunning seaside experience.
A stunning seaside experience. Two lovely safe beaches, one with a little surf action. The sun sets directly in front of the castle ruin on the promontory. Typical small village with typical pubs and food options. We stayed at the Marine Hotel which was a little pricey but very good - over the road from beach access and green area. The restaurant there has a good menu with much seafood available. We found it very enjoyable.

One way street system very safe but cumbersome.
One way street system very safe but cumbersome. Parking difficult good value in the car park, 2 euro for the day. Ate in the hotel, the meal was lovely, /cocktails were all 10 euro, pricey but worth it.I was very disappointed with breakfast selection, a full irish with no egg!!!!!
Staff were lovely.
The location was on point of this hotel. You could walk into town. Wasn't too far. IT was placed on the top of a hill and the best part was the view of the beach and the close proximity to the cliff walk. The bar was good. Food good. Breakfast great and was included for us. It was a quick over night stay but very affordable and in a great location! If you have the time walk to nuns beach. Just stunning. there is rope access only but if it's low tide it's highly wirth the short climb down. SO SO amazing.
I liked the location. Only 20 mins to Tralee, 15 mins to Ballybunion etc. Good central location for exploring the area which is beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and on hand for anything we needed without being in any way intrusive. The house is big, very cosy and very well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Even with the cold winter weather, we were lovely and warm in the house as it keeps the heat well. Would definitely recommend and would happily go back again in the future.
From the moment we arrived Aoife & the team greeted us with top class hospitality. Everything was absolutely amazing. The bed is the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in any hotel around the world. The customer service is exceptional & the food should be awarded a Michelin Star. We truly enjoyed our superb stay & look forward to our return. We have highly recommended the amazing B&B to all our family & friends. Gora mile a mhaith agat. Paddy & Geraldine
Staff are firendly and attentive.
Lovely location overlooking the beach, easy parking. Beach has large tidal range so walking along the beach.
Amazing breakfasts with variety to match all needs. Dinner delicious in a modern and eleganty dining room with a range of seating options.
Bed very comfortable and room warm and there is nice seating in the bar downstairs .
I recommend hiring a car from the airport ( we flew to Kerry Airport)
Beautiful B & B, impeccably maintained. Hostess Ann is absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious, many options and served in a beautiful sunroom. Love the location looking out to the ocean. Rooms large and comfortable. Would definitely go again, both to the town and this B&B
The hotel is charming and comfortable. Great location; very close to hikes, ocean views and the golf course. we slept very well. Breakfast was good and filling. Our host was very nice and welcoming. She even let me borrow an outlet adapter when I needed it.
Staff were very efficient and helpful. Food was great. Location was perfect, right beside the beach. Family room was perfect for young children. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Our first trip away with young children and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The property was an old country style hotel & close to the town,& Comfortable
The Staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was a problem
Breakfast was Excellent 👌. We enjoyed our stay .
Thank you to the wonderful staff
Nice breakfast, superb shower, location a bit of a walk from the town, so we drove. We can recommend doing the cliff walk from The Cliff Hotel - easy short walk but beautiful scenery. The beaches are great in Ballybunion.
A nice clean house in walking distance to Ballybunion and the beach. It has 2 bathrooms and a stove, which really adds to the comfort on a chilly evening. Some fuel was provided to start a fire, which was a nice touch.
Had a lovely time in Cliff House, breakfast was delicious, bar was lovely. Sat outside the front for morning tea and it was so relaxing. Right across from the beach. Perfect location.
Great location for Ballybunion golf. Nicest B&B I have ever stayed in. Huge bedroom and huge bathroom. Fabulous breakfast. David helped us with dinner reservations as well.
The host James & Mary were a delight. Helpful, warm & welcoming. Location excellent for Ballybunion Golf. Would recommend it for any golfer travelling around.
Staff were just the business. They looked after our golf equipment with ease. Bedroom A class and Breakfast super altogether. Absolutely no complaints.
