The hotel room was exactly as advertised, and incredibly comfortable. Food at the hotel restaurant was also delicious, and not too expensive despite the quality. Also, photos make the portions look small, but we weren't able to finish all our food. Finally, the staff spoke amazing English and were great.

The apartment is really nice and clean. The communication with the host was very smooth. We didn't care much about the location as we were in transit for one night only, so I can't say much about this aspect, but the neighborhood looked as new residential area.

A great apartment that felt like home for a few days we stayed there after a long road. The hosts are super nice and the place is equipped with everything to comfortably cook, live and work. The place is really clean and there are little things/ Christmas decorations that show how much care and love has been put into this apartment. Thanks again, Megi!

It's a beautiful, historic city, with fantastic local restaurants and cafes, stunning parks, and very clean and quiet. My favourite thing about the old town is that it's all cobblestones and austrian-style buildings with no car access. Perfect to walk around in. Even the streets by larger roads feel quiet, and it's so picturesque and green, it's wonderful to walk in.

Great old town and very nice small castle.
Great old town and very nice small castle. Good for walks, sitting in cafes, reading books, going to restaurants, visiting the cinema and going to small bars.
Not at all overcrowded by tourists (in late September) from various countries.
Very nice place to travel to.

This is a great day trip from Zagreb that is easily booked by bus. The old town core is well maintained and has significant architecture, charming terraces and cafes, and can be nicely covered in 1-2 days if you’d like to enjoy an overnight as I did.

Varazdin is a beautiful small town.
Varazdin is a beautiful small town. The appartment is situated in the ground floor with one main living room (and entrance hall) with kitchen, sleeping room, bathroom and wc. It is very comfortable with a lovely backyard. You can use a table with chairs outside, however, you must tolerate people coming to a small shop on the opposite side of your door. They are not many. The owners are very kind and willing to help.

It is a small town but very nice, with cozy atmosphere and peaceful streets. People are friendly and easy to talk to. Everything is very clean. They respect nature and have beautiful forests, lakes and mountains around the town, with castles to visit. Restaurants have a wide variety of menus, good food.

A beautiful city with hardly any tourists!
A beautiful city with hardly any tourists! Truly a hidden gem. We went in august, when the beaches were full. In Varazdin, there was hardly anyone!
Beautiful castles, country side, and rock climbing.
The staff was very nice in changing my room to the quiet side of the hotel, The one side on the hotel resides on a very noisy road, you will not be able to sleep if you are a light sleeper. Room was very large and very clean. Parking directly out front. Wifi was good. Many electrical outlets. Again, the young lady on duty when I checked in was VERY helpful in finding me a quiet room. THANK YOU!!! .... You were a life saver!! Great value for the money, but the hotel is away from everything.
Very cozy and very spacey accommodation in the ground floor of a two generation family house. With a dedicated parking spot available.
Very well equipped kitchen that has just about everything including an espresso machine. Cozy living room and two bedrooms.
As a bonus, there are also plenty of tips available in writing for Varazdin and outside the city alike. The host is a one of a kind as well - highly recommended!
We decided to stay at the very same pension during our past 2 visits in Varaždin. The equipment in the rooms may be a bit outdated, but that is compensated by the very warm welcome, friendliness and care of the staff. Own free parking, spacious rooms with a cooling mini-bar, rich breakfasts, location in the center of Varaždin. We will definitely be happy to come back again next year!
Beautiful apartment in the centre. Every inch is well optimized to the needs of visitors. Clean an cute barhroom. Great interior design with a lot of information about Varaždin and sightseeing spots. The host was clear, responsive and friendly. If I visit Varaždin, im definately coming back to this place 🩷 ideal for romantic stay, for couples.
It's a beautiful hotel with a comfortable and sophisticated interior that corresponds greatly with the atmosphere of Varazdin. The location is perfect, within the historical center of the city (yet calm and quiet), with a very nice park across the street.
The staff was super friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the breakfast :)
Very nice spacious apartment with lots of natural light, close to the city center. There is a bakery, two markets and a few cafes around the apartment which is great in my opinion and also free parking with lots of space. The host was very hospitable and all in all I would recommend Anita apartments to everyone.
This is a lovely little nineteenth century style hotel. The staff was terrific and the location couldn't be better. We will be staying here again for the baroque music festival and are looking forward to returning. There is a small packing lot in the back if you are arriving by car.
Beautiful apartment a few minutes walk from the city center. Excellent contactless check in, simple and effective. Free parking space in the inner yard. Friendly hosts ready to help with everything you need.
We liked everything, especially the amplasament of the hotel, in a very beautiful park and 5 minutes walking distance from the city centre.Very clean and confortable room, very good food, nice staff.
Excellent location, clean, flexible host. We loved the walkability from the property and the parking was great as we were by car. Make sure to grab a beer downstairs!
