Mlini and Dubrovnik surprised us with not such good service, angry people in the supermarket, and unreasonably high prices. The nature and the views are amazing, but better be prepared and do good research and planning before going there to avoid surprises and disappointments.

The Hotel was situated in a small little alcove, a few restaurants, all connected to the hotel so easy to settle bills, it had a harbour which was served by two different boat company's, So it was very easy to get a boat to Cavat or Dubrovnik, both a must if staying here, just make sure the city doesn't have too many cruise ships docked or the city can be overrun. You could also get the three Island cruise ship from the harbour, which went everydayThe boats are very frequent, and at 15 euro return, a fair price to pay.

We had the opportunity to visit several beaches: Mlini, Srebreno and Kupari. The beaches are clean, equipped, the water is warm, there are a lot of people, of course, but this was absolutely not a problem for our family.
I must admit I was a bit surprised by the absence of local markets where one could purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, or locally caught fish in Croatia (Croatia, beautiful country where's all the fish catched from that beautiful sea of yours? :) ). There is a supermarket called 'Konzum' with a broad selection, but the fish variety is very limited. On a positive note, I'd recommend visiting the restaurant called 'Oleander', where you can experience exceptional service, delectable dishes, and fantastic live music. However, right next door, there's the "Basilico" restaurant, where we encountered rather impolite behavior from the waitstaff.

Mlini is convenient for visiting Dubrovnik as you can get ferries or buses into town. It is in a pretty bay and has a few nice restaurants. Bistro Lorenco in particular was excellent. The commercial centre is useful for picking up beach things etc and food
Our stay in Mlini was great. The property itself is very nice and clean and has all you need. You can go to Dubrovnik, Old City by boat (15 minutes) or by bus as the station is very close. You should definitely make a dinner at the property because of the nice view and marvelous home made food:) Mlini itself has its own charm of not that populated beach with many things to do with kids - platform jumping, water-pool and extremely blue water! Spend some time at the beach and discover the spirit of Croatia:) It has some nice bars as well.
Spacious, modern and comfortable accommodation. The beds were excellent and the cleaning was carried out to a high standard. This is our second visit to these apartments and it didn’t disappoint. The sweeping view from our second floor corner apartment of the mountains, trees and and vegetation was truly superb.
The apartment is a short walk from Kupari beach, which despite the bombed-out hotels that mark its coastline, is a brilliant location for swimmers and families alike.
Convenient and beautiful location, close to the beaches and restaurants. Water taxi to Dubrovnik Old Town is in front of the house. You don’t need a car to get to old town, take a boat there and Uber back, comes out much cheaper than parking. Apartment is modern, bright and clean. Breakfast was great, better than at the local restaurant, totally worth it. Host Diana is very nice, informative and hospitable, Thank you for making our stay pleasant.
We would come back again.
The hotel is beautiful. Immaculate foyer reception and public areas. Beautiful pool , impressive view Super friendly efficient helpful staff. Room with a view. Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Had a facial and lovely spa staff too. Great breakfast choices . Food and service in Lungomare seafood restaurant which looks out on to the bay excellent. All round excellent friendly service. Uber to Dubrovnik easy to get and between 12 and 15 euros.
Mlini is an authentic Croatian seaside village and just 20 minutes from Dubrovnik airport. The apartments are high up in the village but still under the motorway, which means comfortable access on foot for the beach, bars and restaurants. Be prepared to climb some steps though, as in most places in Croatia.
Ana is a fantastic host and the apartment was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed for a 7-day stay.
This is our favourite hotel in Dubrovnik area. We were in this lovely hotel several times and we consider it like our second home in Dubrovnik area. Excellent spotless clean suite with comfort well equipped kitchen are some of reasons that make us come again and again. Close to shopping centre is priceless. We recommend this fantastic hotel to all who appreciate clean and comfort suites with best services.
Remote location of apartments is both - a plus and a minus. On plus side it is silent, calm, relaxing. There is a restaurant 3min walk away. Swimming pool is really nice +. Car parking is a big plus. Small kitchen is nice and had almost all we needed. We did not used it, but it could be a good +: there is an option to book a boat tour with a pick up from hotel. If you do so, please take cash with you.
Katija is one of the best if not the best host I have ever seen! She was pretty kind and helpful all the time!! The apartment was amazing and had all the amenities we needed, we extended our stay 2 times as we loved it!
Definitely coming back and definitely a must if you want to stay close to Dubrovnik but in a quite place!! The beach is 7 mins walking!! Super recommended!!
Paula and Drago were wonderful. Their place is very clean, you feel like you are at home. Breakfast, relaxing nights with our hosts (friends) were unforgettable. Both, Paula and Drago went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The view is breathtaking, with easy access to the beach and boat transportation to Dubrovnik. Definetly, one of the best vacation.
This is a great hotel, very close to all the amenities and the beach. Very spacious and clean rooms perfect for a family. The pool on the roof top with built-in jacuzzi is fantastic - kids absolutely loved it. The best coffee and breakfast in the area! And finally - the most attentive and helpfully staff. We had an amazing sty and highly recommend it!
Nice location, welcome drink, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping center. Really easy to reach all what you need (for example bus to Dubrovnik if you are without car).
The free own parking with enough space is a big plus. The hosts (Marija and Jurica) were really nice and friendly (thank you for a nice cake and gifts).
The room was as clean as it could be, though it was very old and had old shabby carpets which didn’t feel very hygienic
The location was great for Dubrovnik/nearby islands as you can get cheap water taxis from outside and it was very quiet with a couple of nice bars walkable from hotel
Pool area was nice
Location- easy access to Dubrovnik bus stop at top of the road. Buses to Cavtat also stop there.
Apartments overlook the sea.
Very nice hotel restaurant on site- perfect for breakfast, lunch and or dinner. located beside the sea, comfortable outdoor seating.
Friendly, smiling staff around the resort.
Nice holiday at Mlini, conveniently located small hotel close to Dubrovnik but enough far. Good location walking distance to the beach, bakery close by. Common kitchen where you may make breakfast and coffee. Room had small fridge for beverages
Everything was very good. The location, the hotel ambience, very friendly staff. The hotel was very clean with great facilities. It was close to the beach and quite close to both, Dubrovnik and the airport. We enjoyed our stay here.
I absolutely loved my stay at the villa gala. Anna and her parents are very sweet and helpful in every ways they can. Super convenient location, close to beaches, bakeries, and easy commute to Dubrovnik.
Beautiful location on a walkable trail with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel had multiple restaurant choices and an excellent breakfast buffet included.
