It is located in perfect spot for visiting all the tourist attractions of the area (Vai, Itanos, Siteia, Minoan palace of Zakros and beaches). A small lovely town on the easternmost tip of Crete.
A small lovely town on the easternmost tip of Crete. Touristy but not overcrowded. Lovely streets, family-owned cafes and restaurants, friendly people. A bit far from popular Elounda and Agios Nikolaos, thus less crowded and more tranquil. Famous Vai palm beach close by. Worth visiting and staying for several days if you want quiet vacations away from crowds.IIanRussia

Galini is close to Vai Beach, Itanos archeological site, Palaiokastro village and much more places worth exploring. You can observe sunrises from the terrace. We could stay there for a week. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped, Internet connection works perfectly fine, room was cleaned after 2 nights (we got new towels as well) and Foutula is one of the loveliest hostess we’ve met in Crete
