Froso welcomed us very friendly. She explained everything. Very nice hotel directly at the beach, with parking place. We stayed for 14 days in Vrachos. The room was very clean, it was cleaned every day. We went to different restaurants in the area at night. With Greek cuisine, very tasty. We made some excursions: Kayaking on the river Acheron, dolphin watching tour, Nikopolus. We drove to some villages around and visited Preveza and Parga. Very nice vacation. Thank you.

Such a perfect holiday!
Such a perfect holiday! We stayed at the large appartment with the terrace. Not only was it with the sea view, there was a lemon tree with lots of lemons on one side and a 600-year-old olive tree on the other. We felt extremely fortunate to be able to stay in a villa with such a beautiful garden. There was a banana plant, a Norfolk pine, kumquat and other trees and plants. There was also a swallow nest above the front door so we watched the chicks beeing fed. The owner was very friendly, helpful but never intrusive, a perfect gentleman. We had a great time swimming in the bay with some rocks, lots of different kinds of fish and even a turtle! That was definitely the highlight of my holiday. Ligia is a small quiet village with a shop, bakery and 3 restaurants in a short walking distance. Our favourite restaurant was close to the shop. We went on 3 great trips to see picturesque Parga, Lefkada – Porto Katsiki Beach, the lighthouse and the waterfalls – all worth seeing. The last trip was to see the ancient city of Cassope. The view from the top of the amphitheatre, which was made for 6000 people, is a must see! I even found a big tortoise munching on some roots there! We will treasure our wonderful memories forever! Ligia is quiet little place with several villas and hotels.
Ligia is quiet little place with several villas and hotels. There is only one market, one bakery and 2-3 fish-restorants. The is no night life in Ligia. But the good think is that it is positioned between the Vrahos Beach form one side, were the one can find lots of locals and Ackrogali Beach form other, which is organized beach. Both beaches are 2-3 minutes by car.

The place is a small village but you can more or less everything you need. There is not good organised beach or night life so it is perfect for people looking for peaceful holiday. Also position is really good to explore the area from Parga to Preveza or even island Lefkada as everything is within 70km distance from Lygia.

A sleepy little place consisting mostly of villas overlooking the sea. Very few tavernas within walking distance but there are plenty at nearby Vrachos Beach. There is a small supermarket which is open in the summer season. The beach is beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the air con worked well. The hotel was well situated for the beach. There is a small cafe attached where we had a lovely cup of coffee the next morning.
