Litochoro is a gateway to Olympus, so it does not need recommendations. The apartment we rented was a bit farther from the mountain, close to the sea. So we had the advantage of sea beach, plenty of restaurants and shops.

if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to Prionia and hike from there. If you climb from the beginning , there is not much to see. on the way and you will get exhausted after 4 km since the trails are quite stepp with sharp rock.

Great access to Mt. Olympus and a number of day hikes. Easy access to the beaches as well, although we came in early April so did not visit them as extensively as we might have in the summer months. Town is incredibly quaint and has a lot of character.

The ambiance of the village is amazing, the views of ocean and mountains alike are unmatched. We probably would have stayed one more night as we didn't even get to the beaches but just had time to hike Mt. Olympus. The monastary to waterfall hike is perfect for a family to enjoy the mountain without being too long or challenging.

The entier villa ( 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big living-room and the kitchen plus a nice yard with trees and plants and BBQ) all is new and well equipped with everithing you need during the summer holiday în Greece. The warm welcoming of Giorgos and his wife, Dimitra, and the radio set on greek music were the first signs that a lovlely 8 days holiday has started. We have 2 small dogs very happy to receive such a warm welcoming. The hosts told us that they have 2 dogs too. We love it and we are going to come back in the future.
I can’t begin to say enough about this beautiful hotel or its hosts. The hotel has been meticulously remodeled with an attention to detail. From the beautifully set breakfast table to the extra bathroom sundries provided, there isn’t an inch of this special space that hasn’t been thoughtfully touched. The service is warm and caring. The location is perfect for day hikers or explorers of the area. I would stay there again in a second and have my family and friends join me as well! A slice of heaven.
We loved the friendly vibe of this charming, family-owned hotel in the heart of Litochoro. Our room was cute and clean, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. The breakfast was incredible! So much tasty food, prepared with love - we did not know where to start. Luckily, we could take the leftovers and finish them during the day.
Thank you so much for the great time - we will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again :)
The hotel is so pretty, and it smells so nice even from the outside! It is very clean, the bed is big and comfy, you have a soft pillow and a harder one if you like. There's tasty coffee available in your room and a hair drier with a difuser (for girls that want curls)!! 😃 The terrace is very cute and we had the mountain view. Sofia is lovely, very friendly and helpful. And I even received a gift when we left - mountain flowers for tea! ❤️
The hotel is highly recommended. We had a very spacious, fully equipped, impeccably clean and very nice apartment with terraces from every room. Jorgos is a very kind and accommodating host. Litohoro is a very pleasant place. It is close to beautiful beaches, and in the evening it is very lively and lively, much more beautiful and elegant than all the towns down on the coast.
Great location on the edge of Litochoro with a view over the trees in the gorge below + out to sea - sound of waterfalls + birdsong from the balcony. Room very large + comfortable for 4, with sitting area. Footpaths from the hotel lead down to the Enipeas stream for kids to explore, pools were too cold to paddle in in April though as there was still snow on Mt Olympus.
Very nice traditional guesthouse in the upper park of the village. Small private parking just in front of the property.
The owner was very nice and helpful and served us a pleasant breakfast in the morning.
The hotel is very well located for those wishing to explore the mount olympus and, at the same time, close to the sea to relax after hiking.
Everything was perfect. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are good with everything you need. But the best things are the staff and the views from the hotel.
It's a family run hotel and we got to chat a little. All were super nice and friendly and were there every time we needed something. And the views from the hotel are simply amazing.
Very lovely room with views of the mountain, great shower and bathroom, comfortable bed.
Varied, filling, and delicious breakfast for 6 euro.
Short walk to lots of local restaurants in town.
Shady street parking on a wide road right next to the hotel (pretty rare in a town with very narrow and windy streets).
Truly we enjoyed everything about the property. The room was comfortable, the bathroom sizeable, the staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining. You can walk from the hotel to do walks in the Mount Olympus range! Also plenty of parking in close proximity!
Stella the manager is very welcoming and helpful and made us feel very at home. The hotel is a very cosy and comfortable place to stay and the breakfast is great. All in all a great place to stay right in the heart of Litochoro for access to the Mount Olympus National Park.
The bus from Katerini pulls up directly in front of the hotel! Literally in the center of Litochoro. Plenty of night life, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Beautiful view of the mountain. Excellent and friendly staff, very accommodating and speak great English.
The hotel is in an excellent location, very central and a great base for all activities in the Litochoro area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room we were in, had a great view of the mountains. The room and hotel was very clean and comfortable.
The view from the balcony is amazing. Definitely worth paying a few dollars more for the sea view. Breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed in. Lots of options and everything was good. There's an outdoor courtyard to eat in, which is nice too.
Stav’s hospitality was extraordinary.
She gave me everything I needed and beyond, always interested in how am I doing, and generally showed that she really cares. I would definitely recommend abtone coming to Litochoro to come to this hotel
George was a wonderful host, meeting us on the road outside the property as we drew up. He was very helpful and gave us a great recommendation for where to eat. We really enjoyed our one night stay on the way down to southern Greece.
Very worthy for the price, spacious balcony with the view to Olympus. Located in a quiet part of Litochoro. Hospitality of the host – very appreciated. Thank you
