Belmare Hotel-Adults Οnly is 200 metres from Lothiarika beach and 2 km from the village of Lardos with restaurants and cafes. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, sun terrace and garden.

The hotel was amazing! The staff really made the hotel, anything you asked for they worked hard to make sure you got it. Vasilia on reception was fantastic in advising what to do in the area and cheapest ways to get around. The chefs and waiting staff were brilliant, attentive and friendly. And George on the bar was superb! His drinks were strong and he made every night fun for us. We had the honeymoon suite with the pool and it’s well worth the extra cost even though it’s still great value for money. Would stay again!

Princess Sun Hotel, hotel in Lardos

The Princess Sun Hotel is set on a small hill, offering excellent sea and mountain views.

We stayed with our 2 year old daughter in the hotel for a few days. The room we were allocated was spacious and had a small open partition at the top that separated our baby's bed from ours which allowed us to watch TV when she was already asleep without disturbing her but being able to hear her at all times. Everything was very clean. The staff were very friendly and made our stay very pleasant, especially the entertainment staff who made our daughter have a great time, during the night we enjoyed the mini disco and different shows every night. The pools are well-maintained and clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. The hotel is located on a hill, with nice views from the dining room and a free shuttle service is available. We had a car and didn't go to Kiotari but we visited Glystra Beach which is a 5 minutes drive from the hotel and is a fine sandy beach ideal for children.

lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town with some good restaurants and bars. Its a good place to go and relax and close enought to visit Rhodes Old Town and Lindos. Its a great base with good transport links and a great Beach for swimming and snorkelling.

The hotel was good generally with a nice swimming pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was all inclusive and very plentiful and generally well cooked. The hotel was spoiled by being on the main road through the town and so a fair number of vehicles going up and down with poor pedestrian facilities. Deciding to fix the water problems in the town as the holiday season began was a mistake and spoiled the town and the facilities in the hotel for a whole day. The trip to the Tsambika monastry was a holiday highlight but beware there are lots of steps to it and a long trek up a steep road before that. The Folklore museum in Lardos also a holiday highlight.

Lardos village holds a Greek night every Tuesday during peak season ( starts around 9:30pm). This involves some Greek dancing and music in the pretty square. Be sure to book a restaurant table early if you intend to go. We particularly liked ‘Valentina’s’ - great restaurant and lovely owner. Lardos Bay hotel is a little out of town so taxis / hire car are essential if you plan to explore. Do yourself a favour and skip the bog all inclusive hotels and stay in the villages to experience the real Greek people and food - you will be hooked!

There isn't much to do in Lardos, but the reason we stayed there is because it is near Lindos, which you really just need 1 day to be there, and the weather on this side of the island is better, less windy, the sea is calm and more sunny.

Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper.

Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper. Within 10 minutes driving you can visit Glystra Beach (sandy beach perfect for children), Plakia beach (not sandy but the colors of the sea are wonderful) and Pefkos beach (sandy beach). 20 minutes driving and you are at Agathi beach and it is very beautiful. For dining I recommend: Valantina’s restaurant (everything was delicious!) , Roulas (best moussaka tasted!) and Savvas (more rustic but the souvlakis are really good). I tried also the bakery at the corner of the main square and the orange cake was delicious and also the ice cream! Eating in Lardos is very satisfying and much cheaper than Lindos.

We were in Lardos Bay Hotel the 2nd time and we enjoyed the time a lot. The place has been always recommended by us to our friends to see the Rhodes Island. The staff were helpful as always, the great fun with leisure time animators, good quality food although it could be more Greek. Go and enjoy yourselves! Cheers, Patrycja & Milan

We loved the little patio with lemon trees. The house is spacious, great for a family with children. Air con in every room. We also used the grill several times. Walking distance to the charming Lardos centre, where you can find with some good restaurants, supermarkets, a cafe and a fancy bakery. A beautiful and surprisingly not crowded beach Glystra is a short drive away. We really appreciated that the host allowed for a late check-out as our flight was in the evening, and afternoon temperatures were extremely hot.

The apartment has been beautifully finished and well equipped. The heated plunge pool was great and the jacuzzi was a lovely place to relax. We were pleasantly surprised by a lovely bottle of wine, a carton of milk, bread, cheese and ham, fresh fruit, as well as a selection of soft drinks, water, and coffee. The apartment is in the centre of Lardos Village so really close to fantastic restaurants, Valentina's, and Roula's being our favorites. Yamas bar is a must for a drink and watching the world go by.

The best thing about this hotel is probably the animation team, they are by far the best team I've ever seen. They offer a variated show for all ages. The mini disco is a must for the little ones. The animation team is the only reason I offer such a high score, otherwise I would have probably regretted my choice of hotel. The swimming pools are nice and offer a lot of options. The beach is private and there are enough sunbeds.

We really liked the location of the hotel, the view is beautiful, sea is from a couple minutes of walking. Really liked the staff, who were always very nice and helpful. The food that was served for breakfast was delicious. There is pool bar where you can get some drinks and play some games like pool, air hockey - but you have to pay 1-2 euros to start the games. Also very convenient that there was a mini market in the hotel.

I have to say that Animation crew ( Damiano & Sarah ) are the best entertainers ever met, without theme hotel won't be the same. One of the best palces to land on Rhodes. Great hotel and onsite facilities ( waterpark, pools). Good location, close to beach and local supermarket. Girls on reception very helpful and always welcoming you with smile. 5 stars to all crew of the hotel. Food was nice, dinners & lunches changing daily.

The room was amazing, very spacious and very clean. Beach was close, it was all very quiet and peaceful and the pool area was really nice too. Location was good- there was two bus stops just outside the hotel so we could get around and plenty of food markets to get snacks. Mini fridge, working air con and TV were also a good bonus.

The hotel exceeded all the expectations (given that it is 4-star). The territory, beach, pools, and food were really exceptional. The staff was so helpful, kind, and nice, the same can be said for the animation team. All our requests were processed and treated in the best way. Special thanks to Evgheniya for her attentiveness.

Really good location with lots of added items a hotel wouldn’t have. Eg ironing board and iron, hair dryer and washing machine with washing line outside as well as a clothes horse. Making it more comfortable and convenient for us. Parking not to far away from property and easy check in and out.
