I arrived early, and was given my room key immediately. There is a lift, which I was glad for as I was on the 6th floor. My room had a tiny balcony, and looked out over the street. The staff were all very polite and efficient. The hotel did not appear to be busy, but it's in a great location, very near the port, and within easy walking distance of the centre, and the castle. The breakfast was adequate; I would have liked to see alternative milk (such as oat or soya) on offer. It was all fresh however, and there was a reasonable variety for all tastes.

The complex was really lovely. The room was very big, well equipped and cosy. The bed was huge and so comfortable. It had a nice balcony with a view. It was peaceful even though it had a busy road at the front, the rooms are set back so you cannot hear the traffic. There were parking bays at the front of the hotel too.

All the members of staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful Clean and comfy room. Great choice of cold and hot food for breakfast. About a fifteen minute walk to all the restaurants. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
