It was too good. Better than the pictures and of course a way beyond expectations. I was travelling around Chania and had to book a few properties but to my surprise none of them were like what I expected from the pictures. In this one the host was warm and welcoming. The apartment was nice and clean and I even got a bit of a grocery to begin with. Some welcome drinks, snacks and so on. He was so kind and was just one message away. I got immediate responses whenever I tried to reach out. I had to come early and it was also arranged. I had an early flight so I even asked him to drop me off and for a very little fee he dropped me at the airport and even waited for me for several minutes. He was so kind that I even asked for a few more things and it was provided to me immediately. We communicated in English so that also added a bit of comfort for me.

The house is very peaceful. The village is very quiet and contrary to appareances it is full of life (more particularly the evening when all the village meets each other to enjoy a meal in the "Taverna" :-) ).
Definitely, this location is a great opportunity to meet creetan, discover the District of Chania, rest and relax.
One important thing : at night, look at the sky and admire the Milky Way. And at day, listen to the cicadas and admire the landscape (from the sea to the White Mountains) !
Around the house the must see are : Elafonissi, Balos, Samaria Gorges and Chania at 1h30 to 30min drive from the house. And on the road, if you are lucky enough you shall see some goats perched on trees.
