The house was well kept and nicely decorated. The host also had prepared a welcome basket with some fruit and cookies which is always an add on, especially when kids are staying too. The location was perfect to get around everywhere around Chania. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel..room was really nice and cleaned daily. Staff attentive and a nice breakfast (extra charge)...right in the beach with a special offer of free sunbeds and parasol. Many locals in the bar area which added to the "Real Greek" experience. Good value for money.

A very beautiful pool, but during my stay (second half of September) it was under renovation. We arrived late at 01h00.
We arrived late at 01h00. Efi and Spiros waited up for us and met us with big smiles and a friendly welcome. They had stocked the fridge so we would have food for breakfast and added a few extras for the week. They were helpful, discreet and available when we needed them through our our stay. The apartment is stunning with a huge terrace and a breathtaking view. I can heartily recommend Kalathas sunset villa!! We would love to go back!!!AlexanderFrance - 6.0Scored 6.0

road to the beach very busy, a lot of cars, lack of the pavement, the beach is really great but not many restaurants, only one shop in the area, no ATM , if you don't have a car to go to the centre of Kalathas there are not many things to choose from. There is bus going every 2 hours going to Chania and Stavros which helps, if you want just to relax the location is good but not for people who would like to partyJustynaPoland - 10Scored 10
Some lovely beaches close by ( Kalathas and Tersanas) but...
Some lovely beaches close by ( Kalathas and Tersanas) but you will need a car as the roads are not pleasant to walk- busy with no pavements. There is a bus service but you will need to check the timetables, as they're not that frequent. Chania is an interesting place with lots of history and character. We took the longer boat trip and did some snorkelling- it was great.

Kalathas beach is beautiful.
Kalathas beach is beautiful. The sea is shallow and mostly calm. There is a canteen on the beach which offers lunch snacks and cold drinks, ice creams etc. Excellent, friendly service. Paid sun beds with umbrellas are available. The main road down to the beach is NOT pedestrian friendly. I would strongly recommend hiring a car if you stay further up from the beach.

Perfect if you need to be close to the airport, lovely coastline and super friendly locals. Planes do go overhead, so if you don’t fancy this for a two week holiday, I suggest going up to Stavros where this wasn’t an issue the night I stayed

Just nearby there is a nice beach with sunbeds and umbrellas - Kalathas, but also a "wild" one between the rocks. We loved spending time at the last one. The food from the restaurant was good, the services as well. On the last day, we had to leave very early in the morning so they prepared us some breakfast boxes which were not much, but we appreciated the effort.

It is located a bit from the main road so we had our piece and privacy. It is also equipped with everything you might need: washing machine, stove, coffee machine, microwave,... Kalathas beach is also really close. The host was very kind and gave us a lot of directions for other beaches and destinations. I highly recomend the appartment.

We were in a bungalow with sea view balkony, it is perfect for two people, if you use only for sleep and breakfast. The Kalathas beach and a very good taverna are only 4-5 min. by walk. We loved it! We didn't have car, but the taxi was only 25 euro from the airport. We were in Chania and Stavros by bus.
