Wonderful view of the valley. We had everything we needed. The area around Anogia is really interesting with the strong sheep and goat farming, the geopark. Marina is a very friendly host.

Everything was wonderful. We loved the outstanding sea view from the pool and the terrace. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruits, omelette, tomatoes, cucumber, olives. homemade cake and more…. Lovely buildings. The master suite was a wonderful surprise, one of the walls being a rock face! Very comfortable rooms with logs for a fire, must be great in winter although we didn't need it! Pool was a good size and water temperature just right for swimming. Enjoyed sauna facilities. The bar where we had our evening meal had lovely views, meal was simple but well cooked and the halva and yoghurt dessert was a real treat! A good choice of breakfast and you could squeeze your own orange juice which was really sweet. Very well placed for exploring geopark, with information centre just down the road.

We only stayed one night, but it was an unforgettably beautiful night. We were so warmly welcomed by the lady of the house (Evangelia, Ευαγγελία?) with apples, sultanas and raki as you only know it from Greece. Although with only a rudimentary knowledge of Greek, we had so much fun with her and also bought some home-woven rugs. The room is quiet and comfortable and has a priceless view from the balcony. We will definitely be back!
