Mihalis provided friendly and courteous hospitality. He promptly addressed any requests regarding room amenities, directions to the beach, touristic sites, calling taxis, etc. It is a clean and welcoming place to stay. The hotel is on a hill within walking distance of the beach and various bars, snack bars and tavernas and there is a mini-market nearby, just down the street. The town of Agia Marina is about 25-30 minute walk, or a short taxi ride. Mihalis will call a driver for you. A bonus is the spectacular view of the sunrise over the Aegean from the room!

The Alinda Hotel and its accompanying taberna are the center of most nighttime activity on Leros. Three nights a week there is wonderful live Greek music and dancing: a typical Greek experience by Greeks!

Alinda is, like the rest of Leros, not very interesting for travellers. The beaches are of mediocre quality at best and walking/hiking/taking a stroll is more often than not a hazardous operation, due to the narrow streets and roads without a trace of sidewalks.
The quality of restaurants and bars varies but is on the whole good enough.

Alinda is located at the far end away from the ferry port town of Agia Marina. It’s nice and quiet with very little traffic. It’s more traditional than touristy. There are many choices for walks…both challenging and easy. Several tavernas were open even though it was off season. Lovely people! If you want to go further afield on Leros there are car hire places at Alinda. The buses didn’t run off season but they are pretty good during the season. Don’t miss the patisserie at Agia Marina…and it’s a good walk too.

It is a cosy place run by a very friendly family. The room was very clean and had a balcony with a very nice view towards the hills which we enjoyed a lot. The location is very convenient as you are not even two minutes away from the beach, where you can also find places/tavernas to enjoy a meal in between or dinner in the evening!

We couldn't stay at the hotel because of the distinctive detergant smell. My sister started to cough immediately, because of her allergies. Her eyes got watery and itchy and she could hardly breathe.
Since this is a health issue, we were hoping to get half of our money back. But the recepcionist said we can't, because of the cancellation policy.
In general the attitude of the recepcionist was rude. She wasn't helpfull at all.
The hotel needs renovation. The showers are like 30-40 years old. But this is not an issue. The thing is I am really frustrated and dissapointed because they ignored a serious health situation. The only thing they wanted from us was, to pay and to leave.

Nice pebbeled beach, not overcrowded, with treeline few steps from the sea. Taverna Xenon is excellent, but there are some overpriced other tavernas and minimarkets. The main downside of Alinda (and almost of all other places in Leros) is that there is no sidewalk for pedestrians.
Excellent location between Alinda beach and Agia Marina port, both accesible by nice wallking by the sea after 10 min. Extremely friendly host. Yiannis helped us the most during our stay and also storing our bagages for a few days after our departure. The appartment is very easy accesible, only a few step for the sore where you can enjoy your swimming! It has a very nice balcony , well equiped also and with beautiful sea view. Well equiped cuisine and bathroom. The cleaninless wass spectacular. Strongly recommended!
What Antonios has done w this family gift is outstanding. Lovely building & perfect location. What we wanted we got and some more. A wonderful room, balcony, view, beachfront, pool--all at our feet. Comfort, beauty, thoughtful service (attentive but not obtrusive) tastefully designed setting. Even in Oct, many restaurant/cafe choices within walking distance. Alida is a beautiful bay. Can't wait to return. Same time, same place, next year. Thank you, Antonios & team :-)
The owner of the business, Giannis, is very helpful and kind, he helped us in every way, he gave detailed information about where to eat and what to see in Leros. The location of the apartment is very good, very close to the port. There is everything to meet your needs and there is a clean beach nearby. At the same time, the food is very delicious at the nearby Stis Annas cafe. we were very satisfied, there was nothing missing
The feel, and the location of this hotel, right in front of the beach. The exceptional service rendered by the management team
Both Constandinas and poppy, providing useful recommendations about the eateries
And places of interest to consider visiting..
Very professionaly run. Also,
The beautiful spread of food at breakfast time. Highly recommended if you are a solo, or with a family, searching peace and tranquility
Dimitris is incredibly generous in offering a free port/airport pick up/transfer no matter the hour. The whole complex is pristine and immaculately kept, it has a great atmosphere. It feels like it is family run and everyone is made to feel very welcome. The rooms were unique and spacious. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to Alinda beach. The view from the outdoor bar/eating area is stunning.
The Alinda hotel is in a superb location, right on an organised beach and has a choice of tavernas nearby. The staff are super helpful and extremely welcoming. Both the hotel bar and restaurant is very reasonably priced and food is delicious. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.
We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Hotel. The location was perfect and the room was very spacious, spotless and had a wonderful view of the garden. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose Emerald Hotel for our next visit to beautiful Leros! Thank you for everything!
We loved the position of the hotel with the beach (with very comfortable lounges) across the road, great tavernas within walking distance and friendly, helpful hosts and staff. Great to have a drink by the beautiful pool. Would definitely stay again.
Everything!
Great beach front accommodations, perfect location and many good restaurants nearby.
Levanta and Yorgos, the wonderful hosts, were so hospitable. They made us feel at home. Already making plans to go back for months and years to come.
The location to the beach was fantastic literally on the doorstep . Tony his wife and son were very helpful and friendly . They gave us a lift to the port free of charge and couldn’t to enough to accommodate us .
Lovely hotel, fantastic pool, pool bar and staff. Leros is very nice laid back island. Hotel was a good base to explore from. Ideal if you are looking for a quiet holiday. Would recomend.
Location, staff, breakfast were all great. The restaurant is nice for lunch and dinner as well if you aren't planning on heading out. Plenty of of eating options around hotel. Great stay.
Second year in row that we are staying in Hotel Elena. The rooms are super clean and really comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic and the staff is very nice.
The location and the beach were excellmet. Soecial thanks to night shift reception for their help the first night with the hosğital, when we were sick.
