The Manor House Hotel and Golf Club, hotel in Yatton Keynell

The Manor House is a stunning 14th-century building set in 365 acres of secluded parkland on the outskirts of Bath.

Gorgeous property with wonderful staff throughout. Our room was in one of the converted cottages, beautifully done and we even had an Easter egg left as a gift as it was over Easter weekend. Everywhere was spotless and well presented, food and drink exceptional, perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Loved the room and the evening meal was splendid. As for the location perfect for my job the next day in Corsham. I didn't realise breakfast wasn't included; however I had no problem paying for it.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. We had 3 rooms for our family group and all rooms were gorgeous. Beautifully decorated with super comfy beds. Immaculately clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was fabulous, and staff friendly. Breakfast was equally excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend to friends & family

Very reasonably priced and good for family groups for a short break. Little problem with the lock but fixed quickly and without any inconvenience. Heavy rain that weekend and the area is prone to flooding so wellies could be useful. Tea and milk kindly left although couldn’t find tea towels or washing up liquid etc. cottage well positioned with plenty around to do for all ages.

After a long day of travel, this felt like coming home. It was nice to have our own space to relax and unwind. It was lovely and warm, had everything we needed. Shower worked well. Beds were comfortable, linens were lovely. Overall, I’m glad we picked this spot.

The beds were comfy, we had a coffee machine in the room, shower was powerful and they had homemade cookies in the room. The noise outside which sounded like air conditioning unit being booted up needs looking at. Carpet could do with replacing. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

We booked 2 rooms, both were in poor condition.

We booked 2 rooms, both were in poor condition. Carpets were stained, beds were old and mattresses worn out. The metal springs in the mattress were damaged and uncomfortable, and noisy when you moved. Could not get to sleep, until early in the morning when it was getting light. Bathroom was poor with loose toilet seat, old brass taps that were difficult to turn. Hot water tap dripped all night, which did not help when trying to sleep. Showers were poor condition and dirty. Everything felt dirty and unpleasant, would not recommend to others. In need of thorough refurbishment, it is a shame because it is a good location, with large car park.
