The Worksop area is great for easy access to lots of nature parks and attractions, such as Sherwood Pines, Sherwood Forest, Thoresby Hall and Clumber Park. I would not recommend the Muthu Clumber Park Hotel though, as the rooms are dirty and dated and not at all as advertised.

    Very small town. Small market.

Very small town. Small market. Best places to visit - The house is an ideal place to stay to tour the Dukeries. Welbeck Abby house is not open but visits to the shopping area and the museum are all free. 2 fantastic exhibitions on at the moment. 20 mins. from Whitwell Chatsworth House is not too far away. I recommend the farm shop café. Hardwick Hall was built in 1593. Last tenant died 1960's. Nearly every wall has a tapestry on it.

Loved the hotel and its surrounding gardens and the adjacent canal with its locks will be a great distraction in the summer when the canal boats are passing through. Still very new in appearance and has everything that you would expect and at a very reasonable price. Will make a good base for a touring holiday as it has local attractions and plenty nearby as well. We will most definitely stay here again when we are in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it.

There are lots to do in Worksop and surrounding areas. All the hotels are nice and offer different options depending on what kind of stay you require. The shopping is good in Worksop and there is a cinema with plenty of places to eat.

Just awful. Sat nav kept taking me to industrial area. It took me 90 minutes to find the place 6 miles away from my start point. Reception area AWFUL. In a restaurant by gambling machines and check in done over a pub counter. Then had to exit carrying all my luggage to hotel separate to this. No help available to help with my luggage and I was put in 2nd floor. No lift either, so I had to carry heavy loads up and down stairs on my own. Just AWFUL. I'll NEVER ever stay in any of this Group's hotels again.

Been before and issues with spa pool. Managed to. Use pool for about an hour and lovely and warm . But then told off limits due to maintainance work . Big shame. Staff Julie and Helen on days fantastic. Piper and her team at night really looked after us. reception staff all lovely.Staff are certainly your best asset but lots of staff leaving sadly. Management need to realise the staff made our experience and need better support and appreciation.

Perfectly adequate stay. The room was clean and tidy and there was no real noise or disturbance from the pub below. The shared bathroom had everything you needed and the bed was actually really comfortable. You have to remember you're NOT comparing this with a 4 star hotel. This is just somewhere to stay if you happen to be in Worksop for the evening.

The evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks ive ever had. All. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and the service was exceptional as was the breakfast in the morning. We had a twin spa treatment and we both commented on how good the massage experience was. I would highly recommend this hotel and it's location

Excellent facilities, with the use of a lovely sitting room and kitchen downstairs, and a great spacious bathroom upstairs; also a quiet and peaceful location, though easily accessible from Worksop and the A1. I wished I could have spent longer in the B&B, but I was out most of the time!

The hotel is the best of both worlds. Has shops and eateries near by as well as a lovely canal walk. The rooms were spacious and clean and bathroom great having a bath. We ate at the pub which was nice, went for a walk, had a drink in the garden area.
