Recently stayed here as we were attending a show at Wisley Gardens for 5 days and the location could not have been better - 5 minute drive! On the whole we had a reasonably good experience in this historic building, staying in a front room in the main building, with four poster, panelled walls and a fireplace. The public areas were attractively decorated and furnished and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly at breakfast and evening meals. The food was good.

Stayed at Gorse Hill hotel as I was there for a wedding over the weekend. It was very convenient to simply walk upstairs after the wedding to sleep for the night.

Host that greeted me was very attentive and communicative and and his family were lovely.
We were asked to leave our shoes at the door - which is a good thing as it shows that they care about keeping the place clean, which it was.
We arrived by car and the property was easy to find and off-road parking was facilitated for two cars.
We had a walk to the local Wetherspoons and a curry house on a couple of nights; it took us just under fifteen minutes.
Host gave us a front-door key so we could come and go as we pleased without disturbing anyone.
The bed I slept in was exceptionally comfortable.
Shower was warm and powerful.
We didn't really use it, but the kitchen was a great bonus. You could easily do some basic cooking in there - and there were loads of things provided such as juice, tea, coffee, milk, cereals and sauces.

Anchor and Crown definitely not to go Toilet was not flushing, dirty all over, small room, difficult parking, no staff available, even though breakfast was included, we could not have any single breakfast, they never cleaned the room except once after pushing hard thru the 4 weeks stay. Definitely not to recommend

We were there for a wedding and the street sign near the hotel pointing to the church was pointing away from the church - fortunately we had time to work this out. Our dry run in the morning took 15 minutes when in fact the church was 4 minutes away. The centre is a bit soulless but the statues and Martians make it more interesting, particularly if war of the worlds was a favourite part of your childhood. The market area was covered and there was a good selection of shops. Lovely walk by the canal where there is a barge acting as a cafe. Wisely, several National Trust centres and pretty villages nearby and the Living Planet Centre across the canal.

We were not in Woking for very long, but the areas we dis see were very nice, seemed to be a lot of parks and natural areas. It is a great location, with it's proximity to Heathrow, to stay the night before a flight.

Lovely quiet location.
Lovely quiet location. Nigel owner was very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was lovely and spotlessly clean. No bath, but this
was mentioned in the description.
Only a tea-pot was missing, but a very exotic coffee machine.

We stayed outside of Woking, Hillside Farm Barn is not in the Heart of Woking, we came to Woking because we were visiting Guildford for two shows at the G Live, however on previous occasions we have stayed in Guildford Town, but in future our choice would definitely be Hillside Barn Farm Woking it’s 4 miles from Guildford and much quieter with nice views over the Farm, what’s not to like. A much better choice all round
Really nice rooms. Not the cheapest but new rooms are very clean quiet and comfortable. You wouldn't think you are in a pub on a road.
Decent shower. Double bed was so comfortable without that annoying ridge in the middle that you get in some hotels. Great location for me as I was working in Woking. Brought my bicycle so was able to explore the canal and woodlands. Superb. Spoilt for choice on the food. I didn't eat in the pub, the was to much choice in town which is 10 minutes away.
the property was easy to find and conveniently close to the rail station. it was well situated for the town centre which had an excellent range of restaurants and shops. the staff were friendly and the rooms clean and well stocked. a large fan was available in the absence of air conditioning with was a great addition. the room had character with an original Victorian fireplace (not in use and closed off with a transparent covering
The host is a lovely family. Everything is made to make a comfartable stay for all guests. They made a excellent breakfast and gave us advice about the transport to London. The place is near the Woking trainstation ( 7 mins walk). The car can be parked in front of the house. The house is near the M25. Great place with comfortable beds for a good night sleep. Thank you.
Fabulous location for visiting RHS Wisley and Brooklands Museum.
Wonderful welcome from lovely staff in all areas of the hotel. Beautiful decor.
E we had a dinner, bed & breakfast deal which was decent value for money. Restaurant was super but choices were limited.
Free parking, complementary breakfast drinks at the lobby, staff were pleasant, location was good if you want to be close to the center of Woking, short walking distance from shops and train station and infront of a park with a playground.
Clean modern apartment.Very close to train station and town centre. Free gym is a useful bonus and a onsite restaurant and a Tesco store is very convenient Close to a friendly local pub with good food .
Well appointed and located flat. Quiet and peaceful location but only 10 minutes (or 15 along the canalside) I to town centre. Ideal for a stay in Woking. Will definitely stay there again.
Really lovely flat. Very clean, spacious and comfortable! Everything you needed. Very close to Woking train station and town. The lady who gave us the keys was really lovely and helpful
The property was well presented and equipped. There were everything for living. Great location 2 mins to railway station. Best commute to London 25 mins. Very helpful personal.
I loved this hotel! The facilities were amazing - exceptionally clean, bed was sooooo comfortable, plenty of plug sockets, breakfast was tasty, staff were friendly!
Convenient because we had to be in the area. It’s walking distance from a nice shopping mall and also to train station, with direct trains to Waterloo (25 min)
