I don’t think I’ve ever received a warmer welcome. Only booked for one night when I decided to travel a day early but could easily have stayed longer. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the owner, who greeted me as I arrived. There was even a gift for my dog in the room. The room was lovely, looking out to the small loch. Food was home cooked and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The location is literally smack dab on a gorgeous beach with waves lulling you to sleep at night. The Bothies are well-equipped with everything you could need. Everything was lovely! So cosy, the kitchenette was very well equipped with everything you’d need, even a pop up table at the side with some chairs looking out onto the lovely view! Shower was great, bed was so comfy, couldn’t recommend it enough! Donald was lovely, and great at giving recommendations!

location ideal for touring lewis & harris - right next to Calanais Stones so easy to visit day or night. Hosts available but discrete. Property exceptionally well kitted out. From kitchen utensils to maps it seemed to have everything you needed. Indeed if you couldn't find something usually it was because you hadn't looked hard enough.
