The rooms were lovely, clean, spacious and very comfortable
The staff went out of there way to accommodate us and get the rooms ready earlier for us so we arrived at wedding on time
The breakfast was cooked to our liking and it was perfect It made a brilliant end to a perfect day
The price was slightly more than booking .com had quoted us though other than that perfection

Due to staying in Thirsk we thought we would venture out for food. Although places looked good, nowhere looked as good as the hotel so we went back to eat and certainly didn't regret it. Food was excellent. Our dog was made a fuss of - thats always an easy way to leave a positive impression :-)
Room was big and the bed was comfortable.
We had breakfast in the morning, which again was great and again, Spud, was made a fuss of and even got a sausage for his breakfast!

Nice pub with a decent menu. Breakfasts were great made to order and the staff very helpful. Plenty of parking available onsite. Rooms are in an annex across the yard.
Rooms are not the biggest but they are functional. Staff were kind enough to prepare a ground floor room to avoid having to negotiate any stairs. Bathroom very small but good shower.

I always stay here when I travel to the area for work (I would also happily stay if I were on holiday too!) Alex and team are so friendly, helpful and it's a lovely place to stay. The food is great too, which is a nice bonus.
