Most liked was easy/quick beach access, very clear instructions for check in from host. Least liked was the amount of traffic lights on the shorefront - nothing to do with the accommodation which was excellent in every way - just needed to allow extra time when driving anywhere. Everywhere we went was family/kid friendly, and everyone was super friendly and nice We’ll definitely be back, and for longer. Plantasia, the tropical animal indoor zoo is fantastic, and staff super helpful and friendly. Loads of the big brand supermarkets within easy reach for self catering accommodation. Long drive (from Surrey), so would recommend a rest stop at services/Bristol on travel there and back

Mumbles is a great place to stay.

Mumbles is a great place to stay. Everyone is very friendly. Great walks along the seafront to walk into town or on to Swansea! Lots to see and do on foot. Dogs are out in abundance which is lovely to see and they are welcome in all establishments. M&S foodhall too which is an added bonus.

It was just an amazing experience.

It was just an amazing experience. The area are buzzing and there were so much fantastic places to eat. The beaches were amazing and one need time to visit them all. For us it was also close to so many Castles to visit and see. And if you like your meat, then this is the place to go. The Welsch lamb and specifically the Welsch Salt Marsh lamb is the best.

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding...

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding and having travelled from Kent decided to stay for a few days and explore. Overall the weather was kind to us, just Sunday with rain. We took ourselves off to Rhossili Bay which was beautiful and because I have some disabilities it had a reasonably flat path that you could walk along to see the beach and the Worms Head. The main difficulty we had was using the car park ticket machines! You needed a degree to understand them but luckily, a local resident helped us and we in turn was then able to help others in the same plight. A lovely long weekend.

Beautiful, quirky, retro, very spacious, comfy beds, sea views has everything you could need. The board games in the lounge was a lovely touch. Below the flat is a welcoming traditional pub with piano! Close proximity to seafront, coffee shops, restaurants, shops and many galleries. Already booked for later on in the year.

Absolutely lovely hotel room, overlooking Swansea Bay. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean. Sliding doors opened onto a small balcony/terrace area.( too wet to use during our stay) Lovely white linens, big bathsheets. Comfort big bed. Block out curtains. Good breakfast downstairs. We also had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant downstairs. It was a wet day and evening so there was no outside drinkers/socialising or noise to bother us. Pay and display parking, at a good rate, was very close.

Lovely hotel excellently located right in the middle Of The Mumbles. Within easy reach of everything on foot. Rooms were a little quirky but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning a good selection and well cooked but not the same as sitting down in the restaurant to eat it. I’m not sure why restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast when it was open at night for dinner. Didn’t affect our stay though Staff were extremely friendly and attentive Would recommend

Location was perfect, shops, bars and cafes all within walking distance. Our room had a large window with seating and a wonderful view across Swansea Bay. Due to Covid restrictions we we were unable to use the dining room but a lovely breakfast was delivered to our room each morning . Andrew had thought through all the new regulations so that contact was kept to a minimum but in no way did this spoil our stay. Hopefully we will return before too long.

The Coast House is a beautiful B&B right in front of the sea. The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. We had several choices of breakfast (including vegetarian and vegan options), and it was delicious. The self-check in was very easy to do, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend!!
