The room was very fresh and clean, maybe recently decorated, everything was well thought out, we could come and go, no fuss, and extra tea/coffe/milk, toilet roll and bin bags just outside the room. It’s great that the room had a fridge, the shower was good, radiator could be adjusted to preference. Wi-Fi password is provided in the room. It is room only but in swanage there are lots of places to buy food within easy walking distance.

Out of season Swanage is still charming.
Out of season Swanage is still charming. Small enough to walk round, but large enough to have a variety of shops and eateries. The Salt Pig was good for eating in. You can walk the coast path amongst other walks.

we only had two full days in Swanage in the middle of November, so our experience was not typical, We did look to drive into the town and park on the road by the side of the seafront, however the parking charge of £4.30 for the first hour put us off, who wants to benefit from 3 hours at £7.00 in November. As we didn't use the town car parks we cannot comment on the charges in them.
My husband has bad knees so we didn't park and walk around the town but there did seem to be some interesting little, individual shops as we drove through, We found Corfe Castle a delight to visit, especially the NT tea shop! We hope to go back.

I've stayed in Swanage several times and this reflects my like of Swanage and the surrounding area.
The Town / beach / numerous eating options / the compact layout of the Town makes it easy to navigate. Also great walks in and around Swanage for short strolls or longer treks.
Can't say I would have anywhere that I would avoid on subsequent visits.

Additional extra charges for dogs were not included in my initial expectations. I specifically looked for pet-friendly accommodations, assuming that the listed price would cover any potential pet fees. However, I was disappointed to discover that there was an additional £30 charge for my two teacup dogs.
The prices for meals were exceedingly high, considering that the quality and taste were not particularly impressive.

Swanage is a compact seaside town but with the added advantage of an excellent bus service and the Swanage steam railway. The beach is clean and sandy. There are boat trips from the pier during the summer. A good selection of shops not just seaside souvenirs . Plenty of choices for evening meals and snacks.

Swanage is one of my most favourite seaside towns!
Swanage is one of my most favourite seaside towns! It is an absolutely beautiful town with a gorgeous bay, with very safe bathing and also dramatic cliff tops too. The town has many lovely shops and lots of fantastic eating places around the harbour and further in the town too. It is facinating to also learn about the history of Swanage and the connections to London and royalty! It is the most wonderful family seaside location xxx
We had a fab week staying at Arbour House B&B. Fraser and Sarah are great hosts and made us feel very welcome.
The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was very tasty with a great selection to choose from.
The B&B is in a great position within a few minutes walk of the beautiful sandy Swanage beach.
We will definitely be back soon.
Thank you Fraser and Sarah x
Everything and a lovely ground floor room ideal for the dog. Lovely garden overlooking the bay absolutely stunning. The evening meal and breakfast were both faultless, lovely food. Also doggy friendly and steps from the garden down to an all year round dog friendly beach, this was fantastic! The decor was also very nice, we loved this hotel and will return.
Everything !!! Swanage Haven is just that - a haven. From the moment we first crossed the threshold we knew that we had chosen a gem for our first stay in this part of Dorset. we have stayed in many B&Bs over the years and Swanage Haven is up there with the best of them. Thanks Tina and Amanda for a wonderful stay.
Easy walking distance into Swanage & right on top of the beach ⛱️ Friendly & helpful hosts who make you welcome & provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Relaxing lounge to sit in & spotlessly clean venue. Amazing breakfast I highly recommend The Sandhaven & I can't wait to return again with my family.
The flat was spotless, good location and lovely for the owners to leave tea/coffee/milk/bics to get you started and a bottle of wine. So considerate of them to supply condiments and cooking oil etc. so you didn't have to take everything with you.
Excellent location so adjacent to all Swanage's attractions.
Every evening we returned a form which we had filled in with our breakfast-wishes. We could choose between SO MUCH.
Our triple bedroom was spacious, the hotel is next door to the path to the beach. In the reception is a fridge with ice cold water to take to your room + fresh milk for your tea.
The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. communication from the host was excellent. we stayed with our two teenage sons and there was ample space for us all. having towels, and cleaning supplies included was a bonus too! short walk to swanage high street and the beach. perfect relaxing stay
It is a very spacious apartment and has all the facilities you could need. A very thoughtful addition is the owner left wine, cider and chocolate biscuits as well as cereals and tea bags. The beach is within walking distance and Swanage is a lovely family seaside.
Thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. Great location in centre of Swanage. Good restaurants nearby. 5 mins from beach. The family room was big & clean. Friendly helpful staff & great breakfast. Excellent value for money
really nice property- clean and lots of space. The views from the front windows were lovely. Nice rooms with pretty decor and on suite toilets and showers or bath in each room was perfect for our two families.
Excellent location and breakfast. Staff all very polite and welcoming. Nicely decorated hotel. Great to have beach access to walk to Swanage without being right in the centre.
