The breakfast was very good and the service excellent All the staff were pleasant and helpful. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer were all provided in the room, very useful. The location for me was particularly good as I was in Cambridge to attend a drawing class at the Botanic Gardens. It was also walking distance from the station. I did not require buses or taxis.

We loved the breakfast, it was varied and wholesome. The swimming pool was so nice, being able to see outside whilst being indoors is a great feeling. The fact the hotel is so close to the station was a plus!

The check in was so easy and professional. A lovely surprise with receiving an upgrade for my birthday.
The room was lovely, very clean, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was brilliant, with rituals shower gel, always nice to have. The balcony was brilliant, it was so peaceful and quiet.
The breakfast was tasty, hot and delicious - plenty to choose from.
The hotel is located 5 minute walk from the railway station and about a 25 minute walk to the centre of Cambridge
Our first visit to Cambridge and would definitely return and would return to Clayton Hotel too.

It was a small villge with a pub and a shop. it was very pretty and as were on a cyclng holiday so great for cycling round the little villages nearby. It is also a quiet haven even though it is only a shsort drive or cycle to the bustling city.
