Discover voco Oxford Thames, nestled along the serene banks of the River Thames near Oxford's heart. With a storied past dating back to the Middle Ages, our hotel emanates charm and history.

Our room was nice, with a lovely view across the gardens to the river. We ate in the bar area, food was very good. Lovely central courtyard where we enjoyed drinks in the sunshine. The grounds are very pretty and worth walking around. Easy access to Oxford. We travelled into town via bus as had been warned traffic / parking can be difficult. Bus stops outside entrance to hotel and takes c30mins.

if you want to lose yourself and enjoy time with loved ones,...

if you want to lose yourself and enjoy time with loved ones, family or friends just book it. the hotels and the staff look after you so you can enjoy the experience and your company. I've been twice now at 2 locations and its one of those places that I couldn't tell you without really thinking much about the actual place, however, I remember the feelings and memories in the hotel and that's why it's so memorable the details then fill in. Not many places you can say that about. Hopefully that makes sense :p

If this review was of the hotel only then it would have been a 5. Communications before our stay were great and swift. Sophie, who showed us to our accommodation, was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was prefect. Also Isabelle who drove us back after dinner was very attentive and a huge benefit to the company. Our room was great, very comfy bed and great amenities.

Great place, beautiful location if you want to be rural. Nice walks nearby, and a cute farm shop! The room was lovely, and very different to the norm. We stayed in the garden house (a short walk or drive away) which was very nice, but we were only informed of this after booking. The hotel, gardens, bar and restaurants are beautiful, and the Thai meal was amazing!

The hotel was as crazy as portrayed in all the media comments I have read. Staying here was an experience. The quirkiness of the hotel was refreshing after so many boring box rooms and bland designs!
