This charming Grade II Listed building is situated 5 minutes from the M4. It is thought to have been a gift from Queen Elizabeth I to the Earl of Leicester.

Clean and comfortable, night porter kept the bar open so we could just quickly order a drink when we got back from Bruce Springsteen event in Cardiff which was brilliant of him, breakfast good and even catered for 2 gluten free guests, room comfortable and quiet. Thank you.

    Hosts were really friendly.

    Hosts were really friendly. Welcome pack was a nice extra touch. Cottage was cosy (even in January!) and had everything we needed. Location was great with lovely walks on the doorstep, and a pub with good food right next door.

    An easy trip from Bristol takes 1 hour 20 minutes.

    An easy trip from Bristol takes 1 hour 20 minutes. Close to places of interest such as Cowbridge and Llantwit Major. Easy access to the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with dramatic geology, cliffs and beaches We had a good meal at The Fox pub and a Turkish take away from St. Brides Major, 10 minutes drive away
