Room was really comfortable and well equipped. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and evening meals, all home cooked and great quality.
Bonus of a lovely bar for a drink in the evening, and the views of the sunsets were amazing. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a great place for exploring the local area.

Old worldly hotel with a great wee bar and with lovely cozy ensuite bedroom and amenities. Whilst didn’t arrive in time due to a ferry delay or have a booking for dinner we were still offered the option of it which was unexpected, and whilst did not take up that offer we did have the cooked breakfast in morning which was amazing. Only stayed for one night as was only on Uist for one night, but this hotel is top of the list to stay at again! Exceeded expectations! Ten out of ten!

The snug is in a beautiful location with tremendous views and walk to a beach. The accommodation is cosy and pristine. Ann is the most amazing host, the breakfast she provides is plentiful and good. Her welcome so warm who wouldn’t want to come back? We have had such a relaxing couple of nights it’s been wonderful, book for at least 2 you won’t be disappointed.

Paul was an excellent host helping us to get the best of our time in Uist. His breakfast was first class especially with the duck eggs. the rooms were well equipped and there was always more of things if needed. It is a little remote but this is the Outer Hebrides.

Andrew is a very lovely host with great guest rooms. The size of the room and bathroom was super comfortable, the bedding, especially the comforter, was so soft. The place was spot-on clean and the kitchen had everything one needs, including Starbucks capsule coffee. Breakfast food is provided, there’s a washing machine and everything you need for cooking. We enjoyed our stay immensely

The view was very beautyful. It is also very close to the next bus stop which was very practical. The lokation is also a good starting point for many hiking adventures.
The room was bright and very clean. The hot shower after hiking was a bliss. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty and we enjoyed to chat with the other guests of the house.

The cottage was beautiful. We were staying there as we were working at Lochmaddy. Unfortunately, due to the weather we got stranded on the Island, luckily there had been a cancellation and we could stay on at the cottage.

The property was fabulous. Comfortable furniture/bed, so tastefully decorated with high quality, locally produced pieces. Lovely welcome pack provided. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great location for exploring North Uist and the surrounding islands. Gorgeous beach within walking distance. We loved every minute of our stay. Marion was an excellent host. So accommodating and friendly. She gave us an upgrade which was unexpected and we had our own entrance which we appreciated. The room was beautifully furnished and we felt comfortable and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast in our room and Marion’s home baked bread! The views outside were stunning. We were able to walk out from our room and walk for a couple of miles along the beautiful white sandy beach which was just spectacular.

It is a real crofting community, single track roads and old machinery, but there is a well stocked co-op. try eating out at the Bernaray Bistro, a 20 minute drive away.
