Lovely hotel in a great location with an excellent Italian restaurant next door. Room was clean and very comfortable and close to good transport links. Staff were all very friendly from receptionist to bar staff, cleaners and waiting staff. All very helpful as well. Made us feel right at home after a long long journey up from our home in Cornwall.

Comfortable room , and a very good breakfast. A perfect location for a re-union of friends who had not been all together for 64 years, .coming from New Zealand, Scotland, Leicestershire and Yorkshire. We were well looked after by Brucey and Abi .

Slaithwaite is a lovely town in a rural setting on the canal. It is only an hour away from all the major cities in the area and well connected by road and rail. You can drive in to The Peak district with ease. Great bakery, good pubs, an Aldi supermarket and welcoming locals.
