The staff were friendly and accomodating, the breakfast did look good with decent variety but I didn't have any. There was plenty of parking which was good too.

Absolutely wonderful place. The room was large and airy and the bed was large and very comfortable. Plenty of parking and a very quiet and pretty area. The staff were lovely and the food gorgeous. Absolutely cannot fault. We shall be back and have cancelled another hotel booking in favour of staying here again. Thank you!

A large village with three pubs. About a mile or so from the property but walkable if you wanted to. Only tried The White Swan (twice) but it was excellent. There are two shops in the village. The Pink Pig Farm (about 10 miles away) is an excellent day out for children up to 12.

Scotter is a lovely little village, we went there for my husband to go fishing and there are two decent fishing lakes nearby.
There are a couple of pubs and lots of different take aways all within walking distance of the hotel.
Beth went above and beyond, she is a credit to the accommodation. I had to work from my room and didn't have time to go into the restaurant, she kindly brought up my dinner to my room. I am very grateful for her generosity as know this is not the Hotel's policy. Thank you Beth - it was really appreciated.
It was situated half way between our son's home in North Yorkshire and our home in Northamptonshire so a good place to break our journey. We discovered part of the country that we had never seen before and found a comfortable welcoming hotel with good food and parking, and it is a place to go back to.
