The Dormy House Hotel, hotel in Roughton

Nestled in the picturesque village of West Runton The Dormy House Hotel is a haven of exquisite service, unparalleled dining, and renowned Best Roast on the Coast.

Lovely room spotlessly clean. Very good welcome tray. Easy check in. Breakfast very good with lots of options including fruit cereal etc and great cooked veggie options. Only problem was nobody around to do our hot drinks. Super dog friendly only criticism is price for having our two dogs with us at £10 each ! I absolutely get paying for dogs but feel £10 per room is fairer, however we would definitely stay again. Great location for access to the beach and lovely walk to Sheringham and back over the cliffs.

In a beautiful woodland location, the recently refurbished Felbrigg Lodge hotel is situated in an idyllic romantic setting on the north Norfolk coast.

Absolutely loved the facilities. The hot tub was great and the time slots for individual use of the pool. It was so quiet and peaceful there, you could really relax. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely bath.

    A nice little village.

A nice little village. It has a fish and chip shop (tasty food and not greasy), a pub (not used by me) little shop (not used by me). Plenty places to visit, Blickling Hall and gardens, Felbrig hall and gardens. Cromer, Sheringham is not far away as is Mundesly. On the edge of Cromer is a delightful restaurant, Gibson's delicious food and reasonably priced too.

Lovely area and in a great location to get to a variety of places the shire horse sanctuary was an amazing place to visit and Cromer was 5 minute drive and a lovely seaside resort with lots of things to see and do. The local pub did lovely homemade food and the local garage was well stocked too. The grounds of the property was amazing and very peaceful which surprised us with the main road not far away but once you were inside the property u couldn’t hear it, there was also a bbq outside the property if needed which thought was a nice touch for the summer months. There was plenty of toilet roll at the property too which is unusual as most properties only supply half a roll at the best. The dog at the property was lovely and friendly .

The village is nice with pub , fish shop & local shop . The night we visited the pub we didn't get the best reception from the member of staff behind the bar , hopefully they were just having an off night , but we didn't go back to findout !! Fish shop & local shop friendly.

A small village, but everything you need for a short stay, with a nice park to walk in close by. We ate fish and chips in Cromer. We also had a lovely trip to Felbrigg Hall (NT) very close by the property. Also we drove east to Mundesley on the coast and spent time walking on the cliffs which have great views over the sea.
