Heacham Manor Hotel, hotel in Ringstead

Heacham Manor Hotel is a Grade II listed Country House set in picturesque gardens with an 18-hole golf course and an award-winning restaurant, just 1.5 miles from Hunstanton.

The Manor is a beautiful place to stay. So peaceful, most of the time. It is set in some wonderful green space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast both mornings we were there and it set us up for the day. There was a range of hot and cold choices. You helped yourself to the cold whilst they took your order for your hot food. You could have cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast with a variety of spreads, tea, both traditional and fruit flavoured, coffee from the machine, again various choices. The hot part was a choice of full English, salmon and scrabbled eggs on granary toast, bacon or sausage sandwich, plus a couple of other choices. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Spotlessly clean, house keeping came in both days. The Manor is just a short walk to Hunstanton, over the golf course and through Searles caravan and camping site. It took us about half hour to walk there. We will definitely visit again.

The Rose & Crown, Snettisham, hotel in Ringstead

Set in Snettisham, 14 km from Houghton Hall, The Rose & Crown, Snettisham offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

On approach a delightful old pub at the roadside with appropriate roses growing up the walls! It was all I had hoped for - lovely room (with a bath!), good food, pleasant friendly staff and easy parking. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the option of fresh coffee in our room & being able to access fresh milk.

Great location that’s close to so many places in North Norfolk. This is a ‘very’ dog friendly location. They made a fuss of our pup as well as us. It’s a short drive to places such as Wells Next The Sea which offers great dog friendly walks and quaint town. Easy to get to Old Hunstanton, Brancaster Durham Market and so many other locations.

    Fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Only slight downside was the room size, particularly with a dog but would recommend. Staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent snd the complimentary G & T was a very welcome bonus 😊

We drove to Heacham and hired bikes for the day (with AE Wallis) We enjoyed a coastal bike ride to Old Hunstanton. Found some lovely little shops with arts and crafts, galleries & pottery and other adorable places to stop to eat & drink & enjoy the views! We are city dwellers…so it was a refreshing break to be out in the countryside and by the sea! And everywhere people so friendly! We loved it!!!

Beautiful room and free standing bath and separate shower, very comfortable bed. Great staff. Handy for Hunstanton and Sandringham. The draw back was the people bringing dogs in to the eating area, why cant they leave them in their rooms while they eat breakfast etc especially if a person was allergic to dog hair. We have stayed in dog friendly pubs before but they were in a separate area in the pub to us. It is quite hard now to find dog free pubs to stay in, that was our only moan.
