Idyllic spot. The pub is also a wonderful mini motor museum so there's lots to see and look at. Fabulous walking on the doorstep. A friendly welcome and nice evening meal. Proper pub grub. Our room was a little tired and dated but spotlessly clean. Thank you 😊

We only stayed for one night as it was a stop over on the way home but what a lovely village! There are 2 pubs with rooms situated on the 2 becks running through the village. Pretty buildings and a church and 2 chapels to look at, would like to visit again.

The hotel was cosy and friendly on a cold wet evening. Being a Saturday evening when we arrived the car park was full but we managed to squeeze in to a space at the front. The hotel was busy but the bar and restaurant service was very good. We only booked a night stop but we will try to stay longer next time to explore the area. I think we had one of the smaller rooms which was adequate for a night stop but a bit cosy for a longer stay.

Food superb, loved that the dog was very welcome. Rooms were spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was helpful that we didn't have to go through the bar everytime we left the hotel with the dog. Useful to be able to use the rear door.
