Helpful staff and very nice room. Overall, an excellent hotel and a memorable stay close to Wrexham.

The room we had was exceptionally small. It was in the corner of the building and to get to one side of the bed meant you had to navigate a small gap between the bed & the wall and the bed and the cupboard.
Some lights were not working (one was fixed during our stay) The bathroom exhaust fan turned on when you just walked past the door so it had to be shut all the time to reduce the noise of the fan.
The bed itself was very comfortable.
The breakfast was also great.
The staff - The one we had for checking wasn't that friendly. There was a girl also at reception who was serving another customer, was bubbly and cheerful.
The bar staff could also take a lesson in Customer Service....
The position of the Hotel was good being only a 15min walk into the town area.

Breakfast was good, although service slow at times. Location excellent and we’re able to walk along the canal towpath. When my husband was unwell, the night porter was excellent.

Hotel and room were lovely. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Great deal with breakfast. We also had lunch there both days. The Sunday dinner was exceptional and the sticky toffee pudding to die for.
Fantastic service from beginning to end. Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities - the food was amazing as were the spa facilities and the cleanliness was second to none. I have already booked again. Fabulous weekend!

Great pet friendly hotel in good location.
Great pet friendly hotel in good location. Comfy beds and nice rooms. Good spa facilities and nice bar for lunch and evening meal. Breakfast was a little limited as the food wasn’t refreshed but think this was due to a lack of staff. Check out was slow but there was an issue with other customers that caused the delay. Would stay again as fabulous for dogs.

The staff were very good and attentive.
The staff were very good and attentive. The hotel description of the rooms is different from booking.com as they describe as economy rather than standard alas over £200 for a Saturday you should expect better than very basic. No sleep on our 1st night as every creak from above could be heard. Moved rooms even worse put over toilet block so could hear the hand dryer every time it was used. Eventually moved to decent room late at night and slept

The garden was beautiful, but the experience overall was disappointing. No tables clearwd at breakfast , not attentive . Young bar staff, no knowledge of the drinks .spa , no bathrobes, basic room , no mini bar or room service . Beautiful house and gardens but service lackingd attention , spa had children in it and was not relaxing . Food was good.
The hotel is beautiful stylish and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite being very busy nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and plenty of food. We were visiting with our twin daughters they enjoyed the swimming pool. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious the beds were really comfy and we all slept very well. I would highly recommend this hotel perfect location with lots of car parking space and beautiful outdoor spaces. Thank you.
The Grosvenor was more than just a hotel that allows dogs - it made up feel welcome as dog owners by providing dog beds, bowls and welcome boxes for the dogs that contained a tennis ball, sleepy treats and dog waste bags. The Nelson bar was also welcoming of dogs during meals incl breakfast.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly . I asked to be allowed access to my room early due to attending a friend's wedding and my room was ready for my arrival.
Beautiful hotel set in the prettiest grounds. All staff were excellent, polite and friendly. Palm Court served the most amazing carvery. Will definitely be back
